If you like your sightseeing with a side of history and politics, Juan Carlos is your guide. - If you want to understand the history of Colombia and have fun doing it, Juan Carlos is your guide. We did two private tours with Juan Carlos in February - Dark History and a Food Tour. The first he gave a history-focused and balanced account of the narco period of Medellin's history which gave me a new appreciation for the city. Tons of interesting stops, the highlight being an escobar museum in a local neighborhood. Then on the food tour (which was fun in itself), at our request he gave us another amazing history of the country's internal conflict and social and economic resurgence, the people involved and how different perspectives shape differing opinions in Colombia. His English was very very good and he was gracious at sharing about his own life and perspective. We felt like we understood and appreciated Colombia better after his tours highly recommended.

A Magical Afternoon in Medellin - This tour combines food tasting with panoramic views of Medellin and the surrounding area. Diego was our guide and proved to be very knowledgeable and personable. The food we tasted was authentic to the area and covered a lot of ground. One piece of advice: Be careful not to eat too much early in the tour to save room for later. We enjoyed the food along with Diego's insights into the culture and history of Medellin. We highly recommend the tour.

Medellín Food Tour - My husband and I went on this tour with our friend. Our guide Laura picked us up at our hotel and took us to several different places. We tried hot chocolate with cheese on the bottom, empanadas, local desserts, and several other typical foods. We had a great time learning about the history, culture, and food of the city. Make sure you’re hungry before heading out on this adventure!

Nice views. - The good tour was we visited the Zarzal restaurant, with a spectacular view, we had chocolate with cheese, and two other very delicious things. The people of Sabaneta ate some delicious buñuelos la oblea and another sweet. After there we climbed a hill and saw the landscape. The very nice boy.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! - We took this tour since we wanted to visit some viewpoints around Medellin, we heard this city has crazy scenery and beautiful mountains, and we really wanted to explore the food culture as well. We were blown away, the viewpoints were amazing, you can really absorb how big the city is from the different sites. Our guide Diego was friendly and knowledgeable, it was like taking a tour with an old friend. The food was incredible, so many flavors!!! the patacones, the chocolate with cheese, the arepa de Choclo, the buñuelo and oblea were our favorite, although all the other bites were delicious, Colombia really has a diverse and fantastic gastronomy, the shot of Aguardiente was the highlight in a little local and colorful tavern, we even took a bottle for the night, we had so much food we didn’t even had to eat dinner. Very fun and completely recommended!!

Top Quality Tour through the Torrential Rain - We enjoyed our trip immensely. Even though we had a down pour of rain, our guide Laura still gave us a great tour of the city views. Laura was knowledgeable and friendly. We absolutely enjoyed having Laura as our guide. We took the evening trip as we wanted to see the city lights. I would highly recommend this tour. The food we ate was delicious.
