Great tour with Andrés - This was a compact and great tour of one of the key parts to visit in Medellin including downtown and Communa 13. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very informative and insightful experience shared by the tour guide Andrés.

A Busy, Enjoyable, and Informative Day in Medellín - We had a wonderful experience with Luís. Having a private tour allowed us to adapt it to fit our needs. Luís was very accommodating and made the right adjustments. We were able to experience the culture of the city through his eyes. We enjoyed talking to him and getting his perspective on life in Medellín. Luís was knowledgeable about the city, its history, and its culture. We like going “off script” so we cannot tell you what the exact tour was like; however, if you like having a place to start and trusting where the day takes you, not how I am in day-to-day life, you can trust Luís to take you on a great tour.

A Powerful and Inspiring Experience in Comuna 13 & Downtown Medellín - Our visit to Comuna 13 and downtown Medellín was truly unforgettable. From the vibrant street art and energetic music to the incredible stories of transformation and resilience, every corner of Comuna 13 felt alive with culture and history. The escalators, murals, and local artists all paint a picture of a community that has turned its past into something beautiful and empowering.
We were lucky to have Andres as our guide—his knowledge, passion, and personal insights brought so much depth to the experience. He not only helped us understand the historical context of the area, but also made us feel connected to the people and their journey.
Exploring downtown Medellín added another layer to our trip, showing the city’s unique blend of tradition and progress. It was an inspiring day filled with color, culture, and connection. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Colombia!

Enjoyable Experience, but some room for Improvement - Overall, the tour was enjoyable, and I appreciated the guide’s knowledge of the city. However, I personally felt uncomfortable with the amount of physical contact from the guide. While I understand it wasn’t necessarily inappropriate, I believe there are ways to engage without touching. Additionally, I think it’s okay to allow moments of silence during the tour—sometimes, it’s nice to simply take in the scenery without constant talking. That said, I still found the experience valuable and would recommend it to others who enjoy a more interactive tour style.
