- Plaza Minorista - The tradition of a ¨Public Market¨ was brought to our land by the Spanish Colonizers. At its time, the Market was not conceived as a closed precinct but as an activity developed at the “Plaza Mayor” in the central area of the city. It was usually held on Saturdays or Sundays, the same days as religious congregations happened

Great tour format and great guide - Orión was a super cool guy, very personable not just with us but with the vendors - he brought great vibes.
We were actually the only 2 people on this tour, but it didn’t matter! We got to try a lot of fruit that I haven’t before, practice some Spanish, and explore around a market that I would otherwise not have visited.

A great taste of Colombian fruit - Alejandro walked us through the market, and told us about the wide variety of fruits and the connections to colombia. The fruit was delicious, and it was a great help to have a guide lead us through the unfamiliar fruits, which were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

10/10 Experience! - What a fabulous tour! Alejandro was incredibly knowledgeable and we learned more about Colombia in the street food tour than we did during our historical free walking tour! I would absolutely recommend this tour to people.

Awesome Medellin Food Tour - Fantastic tour. Very authentic experience with not just a diverse set of foods but also a diverse experience in different neighborhoods of Medellin. There was great food and history. Alejandro was very engaging and fun.

Super delicious - Alexandro made this your super fun and super personal. He was lively and very patient. This tour should not be missed when visiting Medellin. It will leave your mouth watering for more. You will see local people I. The local markets and they will take pictures with you.
