All tours are only as good as your guide ! - This was a fun day !! Our guide, Walter watched over us carefully ! He was easy going, lots of laughs, and very informative.
Columa 13 was exhilarating !! The cable cars, light-rail, and busses were smooth & clean & easy ! Thankfully, lots of trees for shade.
Colorful street art on every building, every available wall & each with a story. Interesting people, all ages & origins. Fashions & languages from all corners of the globe ! Everyone exploring. Climbing. Smiling. Selling. Party music pumping. Motorcyclists weaving through the crowd & beeping around each corner. Homes & shops cleverly inserted into every crevice. Energetic dancers proudly sharing their passion & a party vibe all the way up the hill ! Escalators most of our way down !! Neon colors in every direction, creative art on every surface. Rooftop bars and killer views. Cocktails & fried favorites every 10 feet ! An outrageous, oversized Gorilla, a bird with wings spread, Jesus welcoming the masses.

Great tour with local transport - This was a great tour and Walter was a great host. We apparently picked the busiest day of the year to visit, but Walter got us in and around Comuna 13 with no problems. His knowledge of cut-throughs allowed us to get around the clogged streets despite the crowds. The cable car ride was a highlight and we appreciated Walter’s descriptions of life and changes in the Comuna 13. The graffiti was beautiful to look at too! Would recommend.

Money well spent 👍🏻 - I don't usually do guided trips but I was pushed for time in Medellín and thought it best to join one. So glad I did. A well priced, informative and interesting half day. Recommended without reservation.

Outstanding tour, not to be missed - This is perhaps the most important tour we've ever taken, given how far Medellin & Colombia have come in its rise from violence and crime to relative prosperity and peace. It's instructive of what good government can do to improve the lives in poorer communities---which benefits the society as a whole. Do not pass up this tour. Walter (tour guide) was an excellent leader.

Wonderful tour of Comuna district - Guide Walter was extremely knowledgeable friendly competent guide with an in depth knowledge of the Comuna district. His English was perfect took his time to explain history of significant landmarks graffiti paintings which made the tour a real education in the areas history. Highly recommended half day tour.

Feel like local - Nothing more special than taking a tour and feel like a local. Our guide also ;volunteered to teach English to the young children in Comuna 13 so we got to meet the next generation.

A spectacular tour of Commune 13 and Metrocable - Visiting Commune 13 was an impressive experience. The transformation and resilience of this community is reflected in its vibrant urban art and inspiring history, beautifully explained by our guide, Emily, who was kind and very professional. The Metrocable tour offered incredible views of Medellin and a unique connection to its culture and people. This tour combines history, art and landscapes in a unique way. Undoubtedly an unmissable experience for those visiting Medellin.

Amazing tour, disappointing tour - We were a bit disappointed with the tour. The place itself is unique and amazing but our tour guide lacked in enthusiasm and detail. Even though he was from Medellín, he wasn’t from comuna 13 and sounded like he was regurgitating a script, rather than telling impactful stories. We wish we had booked with casa kolacho, a local cultural centre in Comuna 13

Horrible experience - This tour is a true tourist trap. We were so fed up with it that we left halfway the tour. It is definitely not worth the money…

Guide Cancelled the trip 30mins After I arrived/waited - Guide Cancelled the trip 30mins After I arrived/waited. No prior communication.
Took an Uber there $$ and planned my day around this tour. I understand things can happen but there was 0 attempt at any prior communication to inform me ahead of time.
