Wild West Helicopters – The Only Way to See the Grand Canyon’s Western Rim! - Our spring break adventure to the Grand Canyon was short but absolutely unforgettable, thanks to Wild West Helicopters! If you’re considering visiting the Western Rim, this is the ONLY way to experience it—nothing else compares.
At first, we were a little nervous about the flight, but those fears quickly disappeared. From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff made us feel welcome, safe, and excited for the adventure ahead. The waiting experience was fantastic, with fun games like air hockey and foosball to keep us entertained before boarding.
The helicopter ride itself was pure magic—breathtaking views, smooth flying, and the kind of once-in-a-lifetime moments that are worth every penny. The staff even took the time to snap amazing photos of us in front of the helicopter with our own phones, making sure we had memories to take home.

Unforgettable Experience - Booked online in the UK and a bit apprehensive but on arrival we were greeted by Linda who had all our bookings and welcomed us. Given a full safety check to ensure everything was understood and then boarded the helicopter with Tom our pilot. Commentary throughout with lots of fun and a wealth of interesting facts. Perfect weather with glorious views along the Grand Canyon so really cannot complain about anything. Absolutely superb experience and thanks to both Linda and Tom for a fantastic day. Would recommend this company to anyone and so much better than a walk across the skyview. Pay the extra and you will not regret!

Amazing experience - The experience was phenomenal. My two teens said the helicopter tour of the grand canyon was the highlight of their trip! Mark was an amazing pilot with 25 years of experience. Would highly recommend

Wild west helicopters grand canyon - Phenomenal helicopter trip through the Grand Canyon! We were picked up at our hotel at 6:00, made a short stop at the Hoover Dam and then drove on to the Canyon. The helicopter ride took 20 minutes, but the view was breathtaking and exceeded all my expectations! The only downside is that there is not a stop for photos everywhere, but if you are looking for the experience of a helicopter flight, this is definitely recommended. We were back at the hotel at half past one in the afternoon, so you still have time for other things to do.

Felt like 9 minutes instead of 20 - We had a great trip, but it felt very short, compared to the description. We felt like we were barely there before we were turning around to go back. The person in the front next to the pilot will have the best view by far. You can't control that necessarily, given the weight balancing, but my daughter in the back middle didn't get nearly the views.
Pilot was really nice and a big plus was having headsets that both cut out the noise and allowed for us to hear him speak to us about the trip.
