Great guide to beautiful places - Mdina is a beautiful city, packed with centuries of history which Chris brought to life. He's clearly passionate about his Maltese heritage, and had the whole group engaged from the first words to the last. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon

Insiders tour not to be missed. - We had a brilliant time with our guide Chris. Extremely informative and entertaining, he never stopped talking for our 3 hours and we didn’t stop listening. Definitely a tour not to be missed. Leaning not only about Mdina snd Rabat, but past and current Maltese life and culture. A wealth of knowledge, and historical facts but relayed in an interesting and engaging manner. Thanks Chris, we enjoyed it immensely.

History and culture brought to life - My wife and I booked this walking tour immediately after taking the small group Valletta walking tour with Chris, and we were definitely delighted to have done so. His knowledge of the history and his obvious love of his country and its culture, as well as his home town, make Chris a great guide with whom to take this walking tour. This tour started off at the gate to Mdina, and covered its long and rich history, its residents, its architecture and its wonderful views. We moved on to Rabat which was preparing for a local church festival. So we were able to see all the decorations, learn about the churches. Chris also recommended places to eat, which was very helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to learn about Mdina and Rabat on an easy-paced tour conducted with great humour.

Brilliant Insight into this walled City - This was our third tour with Chris and it was lovely to hear about this fascinating place from a local. Firstly, prior to all three tours we were sent clear instructions on where to meet and all have provided excellent value for money. The groups are small and Chris gives you a real sense of the history of the place. Mdina is a beautiful walled city, very quiet as barely any traffic and was the home to the noble people and Rabat is a suburb. This is a very good tour with Chris pointing out the architecture and style of the buildings and explaining the history, and in some cases who lives there! It feels very different to Valletta and the 3 cities, and Rabat feels like a place where people actually live. It is a great two and a half hours. Would highly recommend.

Don't miss Mdina and Rabat - Mdina and Rabat is a 'must visit' of the historic attractions in Malta. The small, walled city of Mdina is calm and uncommercialised and unlike anywhere I have visited before. Our tour group was small (9) and, Christian, our guide, was knowlegeable, personable and conducted the tour in a well organised, relaxed fashion. Don't miss out on the tour around Rabat, which is easily done unless it's pointed out. Rabat is where the locals, rather than the gentry, live and the contrast was clear. Being a local, Christian was obviously well known and was able to point out and recommend places to eat. Our tour had commenced at 3pm so we were in Mdina as the sun set, turning the buildings gold. The later start also meant that we were in Rabat at 6 o'clock when Yannis opened and we were fortunate to get a table for a delicious meal of traditional home-cooked fare. Travel between Mdina and Valletta was easy by public service buses about a 35 minute trip and cost only 2 euros each way.
