Additionally, there will be insights into the local flora, including mangroves and various types of trees in the area.
• Centro Ecoturistico Escobilla - Accompanied by a volunteer from the turtle conservation camp, visitors will gain deeper insights into this important program dedicated to the marine turtle population. They will learn about the significance of marine turtles and participate in releasing newborn turtles into their natural habitat, witnessing their first encounter with the vast Pacific Ocean.

Participate in an engaging eco-tour centered on the conservation and education of reptiles native to the breathtaking coast of Oaxaca. This eco-tourism adventure includes visits to two communities committed to safeguarding crocodiles, land turtles, sea turtles, and iguanas. Sail through the Ventanilla lagoon in a rowboat, observing a variety of migratory and native birds, while spotting crocodiles and iguanas in their natural environment. Explore an island that is home to white-tailed deer, before proceeding to the Playa Escobilla turtle sanctuary.
