- Playa Olas Altas - Departing from our rendezvous point, we’ll make our way to Olas Altas, a historic and iconic district in our harbor, where we’ll visit our initial taqueria and artisanal brewery.
- Mazatlan Cruise Port - Our route will take us through Bonfil Park, offering a view of the largest shrimp fleet in Latin America and insights into Mazatlan’s shrimp culinary heritage.
- Monumento al Pescador - Advancing on our tour, we’ll stop at another vendor to sample one of Mexico’s favorite tacos, the Taco al pastor, and delve into its authentic origins.
- Malecon de Mazatlan - Having enjoyed the delightful taste of the taco al pastor, we’ll cruise along the scenic Mazatlan boardwalk to our next stop, where you’ll witness the preparation of our carne asada tacos and handcrafted tortillas.
- Mazatlán - Our gastronomic journey continues as we sample another quintessential Sinaloa taco, before proceeding to our ultimate stop, the Mezcal bar. There, the in-house mezcal expert will guide you through a tasting of traditional mezcal, highlighting its complex sweet, smoky, floral, and herbal notes, characteristic of this ancient beverage.

Amazing tacos, rich knowledge on local culinary scene - Paola was thoroughly knowledgeable on the local history and culinary culture. Wherever we went people who knew her would stop and at hello.
The tacos we tasted were a great choice for learning about the different types of tacos and how to eat them. The shrimp taco was the kind we’d see in a fancy Michelin starred restaurant. The mezcal tasting at the end of the evening was a nice way to end the tour.

Tacos tacos tacos just amazing - This is the second class/tour we have done on this trip with Tomatl and Paola! We first did the taco cooking class which was amazing in itself. This tour around Mazatlan eating where the locals eat, consuming an amazing variety of Authentic Mexican was mouth watering and educational. Paolas knowledge of the history of the beginning or reasoning of each taco was a great addition to our foodie minds. When we return we are definitely going to do some more of here tours/classes. Visit little taco places that you never would think to try. - We loved the tour. It was very informative. The food was great. Paula took us to places that we would've never known about or tried. If you have the chance, we definately recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.
