To do absolutely - Very nice day with a driver at the top on the very good advice of Avila ( MONTOURCO representative at the hotel ) 149 € for 3 people ( couple and a friend ) for an individual taxi ++++++

Beautiful experience - we were lucky enough to have been accompanied on the tour “unfading tradition” by Sebastian: very nice, super available to answer any question and able to make us appreciate this wonderful island even more.

Great experiences in Mauritius - During our stay in Flic en Flac we turned to this agency for our excursions. Navim was great at explaining the various excursions and options. Due to bad weather, we postponed excursion to Deer Island and Navim was great at rescheduling everything.
For three days we toured the island by private car with Joel: a very good Italian speaking driver, nice and who introduced us to the island and its culture.

Great family day seeing Mauritius - Great tour seeing the real Mauritius. Sanjava (sorry if I got the spelling wrong) was fantastic - driver and tour guide rolled into one sharing historical, geological and modern day facts about all things Mauritius whether it was about the Arab, Dutch, French or English eras on Mauritius. Definitely worth considering if here!

Fantastic experience with Maurtourco - We’ve just returned from a 2 week holiday in Mauritius in which did 4 excursions with Maurtourco. Our rep Avila at our hotel arranged a meeting on our first full day & was really helpful. She listened to what we wanted & got us booked onto excursions to match. She then stayed in touch to keep us updated with times etc.
Our guides were great, in particular Vasant who we had a couple of times. He’s such a friendly guy, an absolute fountain of knowledge & went above and beyond to give us a really good experience of Mauritius, its culture & history. They also provided our airport transfers (sorry, can’t remember the drivers names) but they were great too & make the airport transfer a tour in itself. And importantly, they were all always on time, if not early.

Fantastic Island Tours - We did three fantastic trips with Mautourco, the first a really fun catamaran trip to the North Islands followed by two 8 hour tours of the North and then South of the island. Vikash, our guide, was so brilliant on the first tour that we requested him on second tour too - we saw and learnt so much from Vikash through his informative, enthusiastic and fun delivery. 10 out of 10 and highly recommended

Beautiful day in the south , with our driver Jared - Superb day in the wild south, with driver and Jared guide in private.
Beautiful places and beautiful photos taken (land of 7 colors , the large basin and temple, Chamarel, Rumerie).
Jared driver very friendly and smiling , lots of explanations and anecdotes about the area and Mauritius.

Two very memorable tours - Javed’s an absolute diamond. - Javed drove us for both our tours - the first day round the north of the island, the second round the south. We’d had such a good experience on the first tour that we requested him for the second.
Not only did we gain extensive knowledge of the island’s history, but the life and customs of the Mauritian people. Javed was more than willing to share with us stories about his own family. In fact, by the end of the second day, we felt we’d gained a friend.
Can’t recommend Javed highly enough - but book your tour directly with Mautourco and leave out the middle man. (Kuoni’s rates were significantly higher than they needed to be.)

Very satisfied with the services - We were able to enjoy airport transfers hotel as well as 2 excursions during our stay.
The drivers of the transfers were very punctual and friendly.
We were lucky enough to be accompanied by Deepak on our excursions. He knows his island very well and shares it with us throughout the day. Thanks again to him.

Avoid Mautourco – Disrespectful, Disorganized, and Disappointing - Our experience with Mautourco was an absolute nightmare and left a terrible first impression of Mauritius.
We prepaid EUR 95 for an airport-to-hotel transfer for our family—including two young children—expecting to be greeted on arrival. Instead, no representative was there, no signage, no contact, and no support. After a long international flight, we were left stranded in the airport and forced to pay for our own taxi in cash.
Mautourco later claimed we were a "no-show" because we didn’t locate their desk buried somewhere in the arrival hall. At no point did they try to reach us, and there was zero visible presence or assistance. Their excuse? A single vague sentence in the confirmation email instructing us to go to a counter—something you’d expect them to manage proactively, not leave to exhausted guests to figure out.
Even worse, their customer service was cold and robotic. They refused a refund for a service they blatantly failed to deliver. They didn’t even bother to get my name or gender right in their email replies—calling me "Mrs" despite the fact that we had multiple face-to-face interactions with their staff during our stay, and it was clear I am a male traveler. This only highlights how little care or attention they pay to their guests.
To anyone planning a trip to Mauritius: avoid Mautourco at all costs. If your hotel tries to book them for you, say no and find another provider. They are disorganized, indifferent, and completely unreliable.
They turned what should have been a joyful start to our holiday into a frustrating and expensive ordeal.
