WONDERFUL!!!! - Before coming to Maui, I researched, researched and researched snorkeling spots and tour companies. I am not sure how any other tour company can top the Magic Merman. The crew is top notch!
Top priority when swimming in the ocean is safety and staying safe. This tour company operates with small, intimate groups and a crew member is in the water with you. - You don’t find that very often. You’re not snorkeling on top of other snorkelers in a big group. You also see more when you’re in a smaller group.. More time in the water, etc.
The crew is very attentive to all guests and they go out of their way to be sure you have a great experience, while taking you to the best reefs in Maui. The crew keeps you hydrated and provides snacks. I would book Magic Merman over and over. Great people, small business - And hard to top the experience!

Fun, small group tour of the ocean - This is one of the most wonderful experie ces in Maui! Unlike the big commercial boats, Austin and his team give you a personalized and small group experience of the ocean. I felt completely at ease with them and the tour was also very educational. Snacks were great and the atmosphere on the boat is fun. Well worth the money and would 100 percent do again!

Whales and more whales - The trip was fantastic from the minute you meet them on the beach in front of Whalers Village until you return. The owners are on the beach to help you get in the Zodiac that takes you to the boat. My mom is 86 if she can do it anyone can. Once on the boat Makaya and Shasta take SUPER care of everyone. We saw so many breaching whales, momma’s teaching their babies and males just showing off. It was worth it just for that. They constantly offer water and soft drinks which are cold and grapes, oranges and banana bread. The snorkeling took place in two areas. The last full of turtles. The lunch was a delicious wrap. It was not the food I expected. I didn’t need to bring money and credit card for lunch. Usually I don’t like what is offered. A super great tour. They even have snorkeling equipment if needed. They will be my go to each time I return to Maui

Best snorkeling and whale tour! - Absolute best snorkeling and whale watching tour! We had a large family group of 13, various ages and they thought of everything!! Great food/snacks, music, children’s options, and knowledgeable/friendly staff! We saw tons of whales, turtles and other marine life. Highly recommend!! We hope to go again soon!

Excellent Snorkel Trip - Excellent in every way! Crew was knowledgeable, helpful and well prepared. Group size of 20 was just right. The fruit snacks, banana bread and wrap sandwiches were a nice bonus! Highly recommend!

First Class Tour! - Top notch excursion! Shasta and Derrick were very knowledgeable about marine wildlife and Shasta swam with the group while pointing out all the different fish. She even dived a few times to show octopus that were hiding below. We all commented that you can tell they love what they do and take superior care of their passengers. Great snacks - fruit and fantastic banana bread, hearty lunch with wraps and a wet face cloth at the end of the day to clean off the salt water! Highly recommend this tour and the whale watching in February is amazing. We didn’t realize that we’d get extra time on the ocean and we saw an endless supply of momma whales and babies. Take this tour!

West Maui whale watching and two location Snorkeling experience - Very good from start to finish. Crew treated all passengers to food and refreshments while showing them a great time. Whale watching and Snorkeling two locations.
