Friendly and effective for nervous newcomer! - Donald and his team were incredibly welcoming and kind to me and my friend during my friend's first surf lesson! My friend stood up on her first wave thanks to Donald and his super clear instruction! The beach that they held the lesson at (Kalama Beach Park) was very gentle and a perfect location for a first-timer. Donald and his team made it a great morning on the water and even stayed out for a bit longer since my friend was having so much fun. They also took great pictures of the entire experience! Thanks to Donald and the team for a joy-filled surfing experience!

Surf lesson at the Cove - I recently went out with Sean for a 1-2 hour lesson off The Cove/Kalama Park. The surf was so small but it was still a blast- gorgeous way to experience the beauty of the island. Sean was very attentive, friendly, and professional. Overall, it was very chill, very fun, and highly recommended!

Memorable surf lesson - We had an amazing morning with Sean and Indie. Before going out on the water, my wife told me even though she paid for the lesson, she was nervous about surfing so would probably watch from the beach. She ended up surfing the entire time with a smile on her face thanks to Sean and Indie. Sean was helpful, instructive, and non judgmental and really made us comfortable before getting on our boards. Indie took great pictures. We could've stayed out on the water for hours. One of our best honeymoon experiences. Thanks Sean and Indie!

Awesome, friendly laid-back lesson - Chris and Jayden were super friendly and helpful - they made us feel like pros even though it was only our second time out. Highly recommend them for a beginner surf lesson. They even made us a nice edited video of our rides for free! We had a great time, would highly recommend them!

Amazing Surfing with Aloha Surf School! - What an amazing day we had with Aloha Surf School! We just returned from our trip to Maui and my teens' (16 and 18) favorite activity was the time we spent learning to surf with Chris. From the moment I reached out to Kevin the owner, the communication was prompt and accommodating. He was completely willing to work around our schedule to ensure we had the best experience. We arrived at the beach and Cruz (sp?) and Chris took great care of us, getting us set up and teaching us the basics. My husband hung on the sidelines, but I decided to surf with the kids and so glad I did. Once we hit the water, Chris was patient, fun and coached us for almost 2 hours! I can't recommend Aloha Surf School enough, this crew is the best! We will definitely return, thank you Kevin!!

A day to remember! - What sets Hawaiian Ocean Sports and Aloha Surf School apart from the many other options you have?!? It’s the incredibly passionate and patient instructors! You can tell this isn’t “just a job” for them…they really want you to walk away with not only success but a passion for the sport. They even got my 51 year old rear end up on a wave or two. This may have very well been the best life experience my 18 year old daughter has had to date. Mahalo for making our first day on Maui one to remember!
