Highly Recommend! - Super friendly staff! Kayla, Kate & Ryan were very helpful and cheerful! Captain Brad was awesome too! Views, food & open bar was all great! Highly recommend the sunset dinner cruise. Don’t wear a skirt or dress as it was pretty windy :) (not in a bad way). Very relaxing sunset boat ride, I’d def do it again!

Great staff! - This was a great experience. We started with checking on the beach beside Leilanis at Whalers village. Parking was validated by the tour operators which was super helpful. We had Kate who explained everything we needed to know and helped us safely board the boat from the sand.
Our boat set sail at 5pm amd we were immediately served drinks from the amazing staff on board. Soon after sail we were served dinner which was great. Drinks flowed the whole time and staff were supper attentive.
There was 49 people on board for the tour but the cabin and the boat was super spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone. We watched the sun set, it was slightly cloudy and windy so not a great view, but this is obviously unavoidable. We arrived back at the beach at 7pm. So the tour was a little over 2 hours.
Staff were great, food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly. A great activity for Maui.

Br prepared to board the boat off the beach. We had to wade into the water. We have been on other dinner cruises. I was expecting a served meal in courses. It was buffet style. Good food. Bad me! I should have checked.

We recently went on a... - We recently went on a sunset cruise in Hawaii with Gemini, and overall we truly had a wonderful experience. The crew was very friendly, accommodating, and welcoming throughout the cruise. The food was great, the views were absolutely beautiful, and we really had a great time overall.
Now my phone won’t charge!
However, the ending of the trip was very upsetting and honestly could have been dangerous. When it was time to get off the boat, the current and waves were extremely strong. We were instructed to get off anyway, and as we were trying to get through the water, the current suddenly pulled back and I fell. As a result, everything we had got soaked — my purse, dress, Apple Watch, wallets, phones, and other belongings.
Several people from the boat who were already on shore even commented that it was unsafe at that moment and that we should not have been sent out into the water. What made it more upsetting was afterward a crew member, who I believe was named Rich, commented, “See, I told you it was dangerous. You shouldn’t be laughing.” I wasn’t laughing because I thought it was funny — I was nervous and scared. In that moment, I honestly thought I was going to drown, and laughing was simply my nervous reaction.
Unfortunately, the problems continued after we left. We spent the rest of the night trying to get sand out of our clothes and attempting to dry out our phones and Apple Watch. One of our phones is no longer working, and even our charger stopped working after everything was hit by the strong current and water.
I also feel customers should be clearly informed before booking that you will get wet boarding and exiting the boat and may have to walk through strong currents from shore. We were surprised by that. We even got wet getting onto the boat at the beginning of the excursion. Looking back, I’m very glad I chose to wear a short dress instead of a long one because it could have been much worse.
The cruise itself was beautiful, and we truly did enjoy the experience overall. I would still give this excursion a 4 out of 5 stars — honestly it would have been a full 5 stars if it weren’t for the unsafe and upsetting experience while getting off the boat at the end of the evening.

Great views but not so great food. - The crew were great and free drinks were nice. I didn’t like the food at all. It was cold and overcooked, but we went for the experience of sailing and the gorgeous views. That was exceptional. Just a warning, wear shorts because my dress got soaked getting off the boat as did my husband’s shorts. It was fun but probably would try another boat if there is one that has a dock or a way not to get soaked when disembarking. We also missed the sunset because they asked us to go downstairs to tell us some housekeeping details.

Cancelation policy not honored. - We didn't go. I tried to cancel longer than 24 hours before the cruise and I was going to be charged 100% cancelation fee. So we just didn't show up.
