• Boss Frog’s Snorkel, Bike & Beach Rentals - Embark on a journey from Maalaea Harbor along the stunning West Maui coastline to explore one of the premier snorkel spots on the west side. Top choices include Lahaina Turtle Town, also known as Mala Wharf, Olowalu, or Coral Gardens. Mala Wharf, once a bustling pier, was dismantled by Hurricane Iniki, leaving dock pilings scattered on the ocean floor, forming an artificial reef teeming with diverse marine life.

These locations provide an excellent chance to observe the cherished Hawaiian green sea turtles, a variety of vibrant tropical fish, and magnificent coral reef structures.

During whale season, Humpback whales are often spotted enjoying the warm Hawaiian waters! This part of the tour includes expert narration about the whales, offering a detailed commentary on their behaviors as you watch them.

Snorkel sites are selected daily by our experienced captains, taking into account weather, swell, snorkel conditions, and their extensive knowledge of Maui waters.

The whale watching segment is seasonal, available from December to April, time permitting.

• The ride to the snorkel location can be up to 1.5 hours. If prone to sea sickness, please prepare accordingly
• Wildlife sightings, while likely, are not guaranteed
• For vegetarian, gluten-free meals, or any other special dietary need please call at time of booking
• With your safety as a top priority alcohol is served once the snorkel portion of the tour is complete
