Starting at Olowalu and launching our kayaks from the soft sandy beach, we will hangout in paradise and paddle above the shallow sand channels with beautiful hundred year old reef on either side.
Myself or one of our few hand picked guides will help you have a smooth experience from start to finish. As we cruise in the crystal blue waters around Olowalu we’ll have the opportunity to get up close and intimate with many sea creatures, including Humpback whales (when in season). The kayaks give us the best seats in the house by bringing us to the front row of the waters surface while still maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience. After taking in the whales, we’ll paddle towards the shoreline for the chance to jump in and snorkel with the abundant ocean life including; The Green Hawaiian Sea Turtle, a plethora of tropical fishes, playful Octopus & more. Photos and videos are optional! We take pride in every aspect of your experience, from safety to comfort. We truly did our best to make this tour stand out. Snorkeling—Turtle Cleaning Station - Robby was an excellent guide. Unfortunately, the whales were on seen in distance. Fortunately, he took us to his secret snorkeling location: a turtle cleaning station where we saw 9 sea turtles waiting to be cleaned by a group of cleaning fish. Amazing experience.

Amazing Experience, so worth it. - Today's adventure kayaking and snorkeling. Was a bit hesitate at first since I have no snorkeling or kayaking experience but so happy I took a shot. Kayaking was easy and relaxing, got to see a whale but best part was being surrounded by the beautiful blue ocean, so peaceful! Snorkeling was something I have never done before, surprisingly it was fairly easy, got to see the amazing reef with plenty of colorful Fish, but the absolute best part was spotting a bale of turtles a good 9 or 10 of them. Just AMAZING!!!! Thank you Billy for your patience,knowledge and good vibes. We will for sure try this again with our kids. Highly recommend 10/10.

Wow! - Make sure to bring water and wear sunscreen. The sunshine is hot! I recommend being well rested. Swimming and paddling so you get plenty if physical activity.

Awesome, smaller tour - We're so glad we chose this tour! We had a pod of six whales swim right past and under our kayaks, which was unreal. It was extremely lucky, but also a result of Jon knowing exactly where to go and letting the whales come to us. We also got to snorkle with several sea turtles and fish. We really liked that it was a smaller group (seems like a max of 10), and Jon was really friendly and conscientious about respecting the wildlife. This was the highlight of an already great trip!

Whale of a time! - We had a great outing with John. We saw a mother whale and baby whale close up, which was very exciting. We also saw several turtles when snorkeling. John did a great job with the group and made sure we had a safe, fun time.

Whale Watching, Kayaking, and Snorkeling - My partner and I went on a whale watching, kayak and snorkeling tour. Robbie was very helpful and taught us some cool information about the whales, reefs, and Hawaii history. We even spent a little extra time out because we had some whales get closer to us! This was hands down my partner and I’s favorite part of our trip!

Best Day in Maui! - Jon was very engaging and informative. Ultra-helpful and concerned with our safety. We spent a week in Maui, and we did a bunch of other stuff. But we agreed that the kayak-snorkeling outing was the best part of our trip. The photos and videos were a big plus.

Tour No-Show - Make sure you verify that your tour is taking place with the tour operator. Zephyr “cancelled “ our tour but did not notify us or Viator so we wasted 2 hours driving to the designated meeting point and then searching for them. We tried to contact Zephyr directly and got no response. After we contacted Viator demanding a refund we did get a call and they agreed to refund our money. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience as we were so looking forward to this.
