Great Experience for My Son - My 8 year old son had an amazing time going out surfing for his first time. Spencer helped with a private lesson, and my son was able to catch a ton of waves over an hour and a half. He's really excited to come back next year.

A great way to learn surfing! - Tremendous experience. From booking through the lesson, the staff was very friendly. My daughters were surfing within 10 minutes! The instructor made everything very safe and took great care of my kids out on the water while making it really fun.

Best surf company. - Boys had the most amazing time! It has been the highlight of the trip so far. Instructor was patient and very thorough. Made us feel very safe. Thank you!!

Great first time surfing experience - My 9yro and I went surfing for the first time with Tyler and Island Style Adventures. We had a great time and by the end of the first lesson I was almost standing and my son was riding well. Tyler was patient and encouraging, gave good tips as well. We were so happy we went for a second lesson where I was able to catch a few waves. We loved the experience and will probably do it again some time

Mahalo from California - We just returned home from Maui where my both my kids had surf lessons with Carlos at Island Style Adventures. My 7 year old son wasn't too sure of the ocean and Carlos sensed that. However, my 9 year old daughter couldn't wait to ride the waves and the hour and half lesson was soaked up with constant fun! Carlos was amazing and went at her pace. She is asking to continue lessons at home, which is amazing and we can't wait to find her the perfect "Carlos" at home. Fun for all - My granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and after a few tries were able to ride a wave all the way to the beach.

Great Fun, No Pictures - Overall an awesome experience with great instructors. We were informed and shown that a photographer was present and would take pictures. Photographer was gone after lesson and never contacted us, as we were told they would. Would have been nice to have some pics of these memories.

Good lesson but not what we paid for - The instructor was nice and informative but we signed up for a semi private 1.5 hour lesson and it only lasted an hour. When I asked why, he said it included the land lesson etc. I didn’t want to make a stink and embarrass my daughter but they started at 10:25 and finished at 11:30. If you are paying for 90 minutes, the lesson should last that. It was an expensive activity and my daughter had never surfed before so I was willing to pay for semi private but feel I didn’t get what we paid for.
