La is the BEST! 100% recommend! - This kayak adventure in Lahaina was truly unforgettable. Watching the sunrise over the water was absolutely incredible and worth waking up early for on its own.
Our host ‘La’ was so accommodating, personable, and genuinely enthusiastic, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Treated us like his own family. Even though we didn’t end up catching any big fish (did get a few bait fish and a flying fish almost taking me out 🤣), it didn’t take away from the excursion at all — being out on the water, getting some exercise, taking in the scenery, and starting the day this way was a memory we’ll treasure. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful yet special Hawaiian experience. 🎣 ☀️

Bottom fishing meets sport fishing - Was an amazing experience. Our guide La, was nothing but exceptional. He got us on some fish and ended up bagging a sport fish from the kayak. Would recommend 10/10.

Must do experience - Amazing kayak fishing!! La was so patient and knowledgeable. We caught enough for dinner and had a blast! We even saw a turtle swimming nearby!

Great day whale watching - The trip was AMAZING. So peaceful out on the water. La knew so much and it was a wonderful experience. The pedal kayaks are so much more fun and a lot easier than using an oar!

Caught several fish, saw whales and a beautiful sunrise. Awesome experience! - My son and I booked a day trip with Boomkanani over spring break. It was the highlight of our week at Maui! We saw the sunrise over Mt. Haleakala, 5 whales, and caught several fish of multiple species. La was super attentive, observant, knowledgeable and hard-working. He genuinely wanted us to catch a good fish and have a good experience. He succeeded! He also filleted our fish and gave us some great tips on how to cook it. Super helpful. Would do this trip again in a heart-beat!

A great experience on the water! - We had an amazing time with La kayaking around the gorgeous Maui coastline. The peddle kayaks were really easy to use — and they were fast! It’s amazing how little effort we needed to expend. We saw tons of whales breaching and doing their flipper waves. The kids loved fishing. They caught enough fish to make fish taco lunch for everyone on our lanai. We would definitely do this again on return trips.

Great day! - Great day on the water with Justin. We had 5 people, fishing and snorkeling. Justin was knowledgeable and accommodating. We caught fish and the snorkeling was amazing!

Great for the kids - We had an amazing time! Our tour guide Justin was super helpful and friendly. He entertained our kids while we snorkeled just a bit longer than the kids wanted to. Fishing was great too. Everyone that wanted to caught something. We focused on smaller fish and caught enough to entertain everyone. The snacks were just right.
The pedal kayaks were easy to control. They definitely use some muscle, but are great to keep your hands free while you apply sunscreen, eat or take a drink.
Overall I’m very happy with our experience!

Unreliable - We booked this experience for a 1 p.m. 4 months prior to our stay in Hawaii. A week before, our kayak guide reaches out about winds being high in the afternoon during this time. He asked if there was another morning we were able to do. I gave him three morning dates as options. He said he would get back to me. I didn't hear from him or anyone from this company. The day before our scheduled kayak ride in the afternoon, I reached out at 8:07 p.m to confirm our 1 p.m. private kayak ride. The kayak guide does not write back until 11:12 ( 14 hours before our scheduled experience) that he had to cancel.
If I didn't reach out, when would we have been notified? We have two young children that were disappointed. This was during the December Holidays, all other kayak experiences were already booked. Extremely disappointed by thier customer experience.
