Great experience - Patrick was our instructor, he was an amazing teacher. He made you feel very comfortable and was very encouraging. Conversations were great and he was able to recommend a good lunch spot as well.

We had a great time! Our... - We had a great time! Our instructor gave us a quick lesson on land and we got to spend most of our time in the water. We had a small group of five people. All five of us were able to stand and ride the waves after the first run or two. The instructor was encouraging and made sure everyone caught a lot of waves. We highly recommend!

Outrageous Surf School is outrageously better! - My family and I did two different surfing lessons in Maui. Outrageous Surf School was an outrageously better experience. Scott provided a much easier “process” to follow which led to less on-land instruction time and catching waaaay more waves. (Twenty-five waves versus only 3 waves at our previous lesson.) After our Outrageous surf lesson, we can simply rent a surfboard and hit the waves ourselves. It was the last activity we did before we flew home, and it was the PERFECT ending to our trip! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 10 out of 10 experience!

The wind was too strong... - The wind was too strong for safe surfing at the original site. Scott recommended to cancel it, however, after he learned that we were leaving soon, he took us to another site and offered the lesson. We had so much fun.

Great experience - I booked this surfing lesson for my husband and our kids (10, 14, and 17), and it exceeded expectations! Patrick, our instructor, was friendly, laid-back, and incredibly patient. He worked with each child at their own pace, assuring them they’d "find their rhythm." While the content was the same for everyone, Patrick provided personalized attention, especially to our youngest, who is on the autism spectrum. The highlight? All four of them stood up and surfed! For an additional fee, we got some amazing photos to capture the moment. We stayed in Kahana and our location was a meet-up at Ukumehame Beach State Park in Wailuku which was super close and convenient to the Lahaina/Kahana area. This experience created unforgettable memories, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Equipment was a little... - Equipment was a little worn but good instruction and we all were able to surf. Short instruction and then we got right to it. We were all over 55 and the 90 minutes was just right for us.
