Refer to the chart to confirm you’re selecting the appropriate lesson type.\n\n Participants aged 12 and above are welcome to enroll in group, semi-private, or private sessions.\n Participants aged 5 to 11 should opt for semi-private or private sessions.\n Note- A semi-private session is limited to one young participant.\n* Participants aged 5 to 11 who are non-swimmers, apprehensive about water, etc., must opt for private sessions.\n\nWe place a high emphasis on safety and cannot permit more than one participant requiring extra supervision in a group. We request your cooperation - please choose the correct session for your group.

Always accommodating and tons of fun! - Josh was such a caring, funny and awesome instructor! My siblings and I have booked with this company 4 months ago and really enjoyed it as well! We decided to take our father out for his 1st experience on his birthday and he loved every moment of it! Josh was so encouraging and goofy, it made it so much more enjoyable. The photographers were especially sweet and encouraging. I would definitely recommend them and book with them every time.

Amazing Experience! - My son (16) and I, had the best time at our surfing lessons with Ricky Bobby and South Pacific Kayaks. This was our second time taking surf lessons in Kihea - we used a different company the last time- and this experience was far superior! Everything was so smooth and easy, from meeting the instructors at the truck in the parking lot, getting our gear, having our land lesson and then navigating through the crowd at Kalama Beach Park. That was actually the most difficult part, trying to stay away from the other surfers!
We felt so well taken care of. We already plan to rebook with this company the next time we return to Maui. Note, the photographers they work with are awesome, they really capture your experience so be prepared to pay quite a bit for your surfing photos, they are pricey but impossible to resist!

Great experience! - Very friendly and knowledgeable guides. Explained everything thoroughly. Group ranged from age 27-60 and everyone was successful in mastering surfing. Great experience!

Great Surfing experience - Jordan at beach boys was amazing. We were anxious to send kids for surfing lessons due to high tide. Jordan was professional and made it easy. We felt that our kids were in safe hands. The kids where able to surf in an hour. They had great time.

Awesome experience - This was such a fun activity. We had never been surfing before (2 adults and 2 kids age 10, 12)and we were all able to get up easily over and over thanks to great instructions by Louis. There was a photographer that took pictures our whole session and had electronic photo package that were available to purchase after….the pictures were awesome and worth the cost in my opinion.

Fun experience - The surfing instructors were fantastic. They were very quick to teach the basics and must knows of surfing prior to getting in the ocean. This was done in a timely manner which gave more time to surf. We felt safe throughout the entire experience. They offer a photo package at the end which is very expensive ($75 per person). The photos and videos are great quality however price seems a bit steep, especially when we paid for $25 per person on our other Maui excursions that offered photo and video packages.
