Best way to see Maui including Hana - Blue hawaiian helicopters Maui spectacular One of a kind experience to see Maui close and upfront. Views are unreal. Waterfalls, ocean, and best of all, descriptions of all, including history. Derek is an excellent pilot. There were six of us including Derek, my daughter and son in law paid extra to sit in front, along side pilot. Blue Hawaiian helicopter staff very courteous. None of us got motion sickness, but we did take Dramamine the nite before, and half of a dramamine the morning of. Thanks Derek! I will use Blue Hawaiian helicopters on any of the islands that they fly again.

A Spectacular adventure in Maui - One of the highlights of our trip. The entire crew is very professional with safety as #1. Everything was easy as none of our family had been in a Helicopter before (the youngest being 9). The pilot was very interactive with everyone. Being able to land and walk around was great. Note: you really need to wear black since the window reflections in my photos are very evident.

Maui Helicopter Ride - This was one of two flights we took during our stay in Maui. It was a perfect trip to see places from above and see the waterfalls from another perspective. Our pilot, Chris, was full of great stories and information. We paid to sit up front and it was well worth it!

Top notch outfit. Weather wouldn’t cooperate. - It was a top notch outfit. The pilot was great. The weather was pretty below average. Should have waited for a sunny day. Our landing was cancelled due to clouds but we were reimbursed a portion of our trip. Felt very safe the whole time.

Disastrous Experience with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters - I had high hopes for a memorable birthday celebration on August 20th, 2023, when I booked the Big Island Spectacular Tour for six people with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. Unfortunately, circumstances beyond our control forced my wife, Maribel, to miss this event due to an emergency situation. In light of this unforeseen circumstance, I approached Blue Hawaiian Helicopters with a reasonable request – to reschedule the tour or receive credit for a future visit for my wife . To my dismay, their response was nothing short of appalling. The company exhibited a complete lack of empathy, an utter disregard for customer service, and an unwavering focus on their own financial gain.The celebration I had envisioned for my birthday was supposed to be a joyous and memorable occasion. I had hoped that Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, as a service provider in the hospitality industry, would comprehend the significance of accommodating such a reasonable request, especially during times of crisis. Instead, they chose to prioritize their bottom line over customer satisfaction. A successful business should be built on a foundation of not only profitability but also genuine care for its customers. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, in this instance, failed miserably in both respects. I urge anyone considering their services to think twice, as this company's astonishing lack of empathy and refusal to assist customers in difficult situations can swiftly transform a potentially wonderful experience into a nightmare. My birthday celebration was marred by this disheartening experience, and I sincerely hope that this review serves as a warning to prospective customers. Furthermore, I implore Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to reflect on their approach to customer service and consider implementing the necessary improvements to ensure that others do not endure the same disheartening experience that I did.
