The most amazing epicnicity!!! - We had VIP seats and sat in front of the stage. It was an amazing show as well as educational.

Good show - Definitely a good way to learn about Hawaii history. Only disappointing aspect was how fast everything was made unavailable like food or the people that did the temporary tattoos. By the time i got my first plate I was told the temp tattoo people left because there was noone else in line (not even an hour into the event). Food was great. I got two plates of food, several drinks and we paid extra to keep the photo they took. Kinda pricey to spend 212$pp but definitely a unique experience.

Make sure you find the... - Make sure you find the VIP if you paid for it. We waiting in line for almost an hour before someone pointed us in the VIP direction. Not sure it was worth the money

Find out where you will... - Find out where you will be seated. We were seated next to the buffet line, the furthest away from the oceanside performances and given seats facing away from the stage. I was disappointed by our seating.

Disappointed - The staff at the VIP entrance were rude and not friendly. The website states to arrive 45 min piror, which we did along with 2 other couples. We sat waiting and host came out and was like why are you here so early and said website is wrong (someone should fix it then). I asked if there was somewhere we could sit and have a drink to wait and was given short response of NO. Other couples arrived and lined up at the rope despite seeing the early arrivers sitting. When another hostess came out and began checking ppl in she didn't bother to ask who had arrived first. We all got in line and I went to the front to ask what the process was and at that point found out it was assigned seating. Why bother having VIP ticket holders arrive so early if their seating is already set? Once we entered everything was fine, servers came to table for bar service, covered snack at table, there were local vendors and photo opportunity. The weather wasn't cooperating with strong winds and then rain started during the show. They provided rain ponchos which helped and thankfully rain stopped in time for the fire show. The buffett was ok but the flies while eating were annoying. I definitely feel the whole experience is overpriced and was just ok. Not sure I would go back or recommend.

Great Entertainment, but Logistics and Food Fall Short for the Price - We had a very mixed experience here. The entertainment itself was fantastic—no complaints at all, as the performers did an incredible job. The drinks were also fun and well-made. However, the logistics and food left a lot to be desired, especially at $200 per person. Our confirmation email stated gates opened at 5:00 PM and entry would begin at 5:30 PM. We arrived at 5:15 PM to secure a spot near the front of the line, hoping for a good seat. We weren't let in until 6:05 PM—a 35-minute delay. The most frustrating part was discovering that General Admission seating was actually pre-assigned. Despite standing in line for nearly an hour and being near the front, we were placed at the very back table. If seating is pre-assigned, the business should communicate that beforehand so guests don't waste valuable time standing in line. The food was also disappointing. The buffet items were generally bland, and the Kalua pork was dry and tasteless (I had to use quite a bit of BBQ sauce just to get through it). The desserts looked beautiful but lacked flavor. A great luau is about the entire experience, not just the show. They have the entertainment and drinks down, but the logistics and kitchen still have a long way to go to justify the premium price tag.

Not worth the price except for the show - Food is mediocre. They don’t give you Leis. Everything is an extra charge. For the price you pay it’s worse than a chain buffet. It was raining and outdoors. The only redeeming factor was the actual show

No fun when it rains - The night of our show it rained the entire time. No weather apps, radar, etc indicated the weather was like this. We were given ponchos after standing in the rain to get in. Tables, chairs, food all soaked. Such an unpleasant experience. They should have cancelled but why would they when they already had our money. We left early because it was just no fun and especially with kids. We picked this one because of it being a buffet with kid friendly options. Would not recommend based on this greediness.

Would have been delighted to pay $200 per person if the food/drinks/customer experience were good. They were not. - Considering the show itself is pretty decent, this honestly felt like the biggest money-grubbing scam in Maui. Paid $200 per person for VERY long line waiting in the parking lot with no shade, only 2 people checking in hundreds of parties, drinks were AWFUL and slow to take your order or wait in a long bar line, FOOD WAS HORRIBLE - nearly inedible. Quantities were plentiful but I am telling you, TERRIBLE taste & quality. I feel bad for the very talented performers because all of their years of training and effort is being undermined by the rest of the experience.
