• 2435 Kaanapali Pkwy - Group lessons are for any students 13 years or older who is able to swim and feels comfortable doing so in the ocean. These group lessons are open for anybody to sign up for and you will all share your instructor(s). We keep our student to instructor ratio at a maximum of four students to every one instructor. We provide beginner level surf instruction as well as a ocean safety briefing prior to entering the water. Our small class size and the latest equipment ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Our patient and friendly staff of instructors give you the personal attention you need to stand up on your first time out!

Join Sea Maui Surf for a group surfing lesson with our expert instructors! The session kicks off with a land-based lesson covering ocean safety and essential beginner steps, ensuring you learn everything needed for your surfing experience. As this is a group setting, all participants must be able to swim and feel confident doing so independently in the ocean. For those who are not confident in their swimming skills or are under the age of 13, it is required to enroll in a private or semi-private lesson to ensure the best experience for all participants in the group lesson.
