Nice experience - We opted for this tour to get to know the city in more depth. In fact, it has proved to be an excellent choice, because we have known many interesting news, especially about the rebirth of Matera after the period of 'shame', but also about its geological and hydrographic conformation, the best times to photograph it, the illustrious people who lived there or who immortalized it in their works, and much more. Two and a half hours that flew, through narrow streets, alleys, views and suggestive views, accompanied by the talented and very courteous Guide Benedetto. Be advised in advance, with whatsapp, that the tour would start from a different place from the one initially established: good organization. Follow the Guide equipped with a small transmitter with headphones, so you can always hear it even if you are not really close to it. 20 euros per person. We chose the 6pm tour both for a matter of warm afternoon lights and for the scorching temperatures of these days.
