- Sri Muthumariamman Temple - Sri Muthumariamman Temple is a Kovil at Matale, Sri Lanka, built in late 1800s, and dedicated to Goddess Mariamman (goddess of rain and Fertility), a deity worshipped by Hindus. It has adapted the common Dravidian Architecture usually seen in major Kovils. However, one of the unique features in this kovil, is its high Gopuram (an enticingly decorated large tower) named ‘Raja Koburum’. It is one of the largest Gopurams in Srilanka. Make sure to notice the Architectural features of this sacred cultural heritage.

Wonderful day - Having read Lasantha’s reviews, I knew what to expect: he is more of a driver than a guide; and I expected to pay for his lunch. He is also charming, lovely company and wonderfully easy to get on with. The tour was stunning and I had a marvellous day. Thank you!

More than satisfied - The tour checks all the boxes for a satisfactory experience. On time, knowledgable and friendly . He was kind enough to go extra mile adding more destinations than described, advices to not get scammed or injured, patient enough to wait if extended the duration at a location. Overall, you can choose this tour and you will not be disappointed.

Perfect day trip with stunning locations! - We had the perfect day with Lasantha! He picked us up from our hotel right on time and even had some packed breakfast for us. We saw the Lions Rock, Danbulla temple and visited the center point of Sri Lanka, a spice garden and a local hindu temple. Lasantha gave us many options on what to do and where to go + took us there. We also had a delicious Sri Lankan buffet lunch. The tour was definitely 10/10, would recommend this for anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

A lovely day visiting the... - A lovely day visiting the amazing Dambulla temple and other remarkable temples. We explored the outskirts of Sigiria rock as l couldn't climb, because of an injury. We had a lovely lunch at a local restaurant chosen by my guide. I was able to change the order of the tour and make changes which l appreciated greatly. A knowledgeable and friendly guide which made the day very enjoyable.

A great value trip with a gentleman driver - We had a great day trip from Kandy visiting temples and a spice garden in Matale, the centre of Sri Lanka and Sigiraya and Dambulla caves. The tour included a packed breakfast and we later stopped for lunch at an affordable and good quality buffet. Overall it was a great value trip at about 11 hours long.
Lasantha is a gentleman and was a pleasure to talk to throughout the day. We would highly recommend this tour!

Very good! - Lasantha arrived at our hotel and was ready and waiting before the designated time. He not only had bottles of water for us but had boxes of food for us.
The tour was our discretion of when and where we wanted to stop. So much so that we climbed the nearby mountain instead of Lion Mountain and also made a stop at a silk shop. He is very flexible and extremely helpful so much so that we engaged him on other days to drive us around Kandy as he also has a tuk tuk.
We also engaged Lasantha to drive us to the airport too.
I would thoroughly recommend Lasantha to anyone looking to visit Lion Rock and also keep in mind that he can drive you anywhere you want to go. And we found Lasantha’s prices to be very competitive.
