Efficient way to see 3 UNESCO sites - A long day but a fantastic day! I only had 5 days to whizz around the Sri Lanka so being able to get to see all 3 sites from Kandy is a fantastic option. Irfan picked me up from my hotel around 6:30am and we got back just before 9pm. Car was clean and Irfan is an experienced driver — very skilled at navigating through the Sri Lankan traffic. Polonaruwa is an amazing place (don’t skip the museum - the models of the structures in their heyday-day are a lovely touch!), and both Sigiriya and Dambulla are incredible too. Irfan didn’t have to, but he is very proud of his country and passionate about sharing Sri Lanka with the world. I learnt a lot about the culture during the car ride and also got some little snacks as well. Thank you very much for the enjoyable day!!

Great tour - We had the absolute best experience with our tour guide, Irfan. From start to finish he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day so enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, gave us great insights about the history and culture, and even shared some local tips we wouldn’t have known otherwise. Traveling is always better with someone who genuinely loves what they do, and Irfan truly made our trip memorable. Highly recommend him if you’re visiting!

An amazing Tour - It was an amazing experience! We loved the 3 heritage places. Our Guide, Mr. Irfan, was fantastic. We learnt so much about history and cultural issues and about wild life in Srilanka. His English is good, better than usually we found in Srilanka, so we can talk easily and ask whatever we want to know. He is also an excelent driver. We were worried with the rain and thunder storm but he was very prudent and drived making us fill safe. He was always very kind also. He gave us the space and the time we needed all the time. He made our day special! And of course the places are beautiful!

A Truly Amazing Day with Irfan - This was one of the best experiences I had in Sri Lanka. Irfan was right on time to pick me up from my hotel, and he drove very carefully the whole day, which made me feel safe and relaxed. Along the way, he spotted a wild elephant and stopped so I could see it — such a special moment! He was also happy to stop at different places when I asked to take photos, which I really appreciated. Irfan was very friendly and easy to talk to. He shared so much about the culture, religion, and the temple we visited. You could tell he really knows and cares about what he’s talking about. What made it extra special was that he gave me a small coin as a gift at the end of the trip — such a kind and thoughtful gesture. It was a great day overall. I’d definitely recommend Irfan if you want a meaningful and enjoyable experience in Sri Lanka.

A big day - A big and hectic day, with lots to see and do. Elephants, monkeys, and Buddhas galore. With a mongoose thrown in for good measure. Our tour guide (Mohamed Irfan) was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. All in all ... a great day.

Top day tour from Kandy fitting in 3 World Heritage Sites - Our trip set off from Kandy with a hotel pick up at 6am (our guide (Irfan) and driver were exactly on time. The 3 main parts of our tour (3 world heritage sites) are all definitely worth a visit. Dambulla temple is best value for money as Siguriya and Polannaruwa can each set you back £100 for a family of four. As others may have recommended Pidurangala is 10% of the cost of Siguriya and arguably a better choice overall (although last section to the top is a bit challenging!). On this tour we also visited a Herb Garden, which was actually surprisingly good (especially the massage). There was the ubiquitous gift shop, but definitely’no hard sell’. Also we stopped for 2 places to eat (breakfast and lunch) selected by our guide and both were excellent serving local food at high quality for a good price. We didn’t get back to our hotel until 9pm, so we were a bit tired at the end, but fitting in all that we saw was always going to be a long day, so worth it! Would happily recommend this tour.

Great experience with a great guide! - I had a wonderful day trip with Irfan as my guide!! It was a long but very satisfying day. Irfan happily shared his knowledge about Sri Lanka with me and tailored the trip to make sure I got to do (and eat) everything I wanted! I really loved going to Sigiriya (a highlight for me) and getting a local lunch. We even got to see a wild elephant on the side of the road! Highly recommend!!

Excellent Tour - Tour was brilliant. Irfan was an excellent guide. He picked us up on time in a well air-conditioned car. He was really knowledgeable about everywhere we went! It was our first time in Sri Lanka and he explained loads about the culture, food, aninals, sites and sounds! I couldn't recommend him higher. I very much appreciated him letting us know how much things cost before we arrived so we knew what to pay. He took loads of brilliant photos too. We managed to see a lot of the major historical sites in just one day bit didn't feel rushed at all. 5 out of 5 stars!!!
