This guided GLOW Tour will take you into the Santa Rosa Sound, + through salt marshes!

Since the tour starts in the dark, we will turn on LED lights in your crystal-clear kayak, illuminating the water below you.

You will use your headlamps to light up the uninhabited islands and unique landscapes.

Our Glow Tour is your ticket to a front-row seat of nature’s nighttime performers. Watch as owls take flight, herons return to their nests, and the occasional nocturnal critter makes a surprise appearance. Our expert guides will narrate the captivating stories of the nocturnal creatures that emerge, adding a touch of mystery to your scenic paddle.

Additional Information

Our GLOW tours are so much more than lights and clear kayaks! Your tour is led by an experienced guide who will share knowledge about local history, and unique ecosystems, while they keep a keen eye out for wildlife. Your experience will be personal, as tours are limited to 5 kayaks. We provide glow necklaces for every guest on tour! You will explore salt marshes, and hidden coves surrounded by ancient dunes. An ecosystem like no other in Florida! Our glow tours explore Pirates Cove with a history of ghostly sightings. If there are no ghostly sightings, we will enjoy the serenity of a paddle after dark with lights to illuminate your 100% clear kayak and the water below.

One adult per child under 15 must attend. Children under 15 cannot kayak without an adult.
While welcome paddlers of all skill levels, kayaking can be a physically demanding activity. Winds, tides and weather can all impact the difficulty of the paddle. Please reach out to us to discuss further if you have questions.
During peak season from April- September traffic in the Destin Ft. Walton Beach area can cause major slow downs. Please leave ample time to make it to our launch before the start of the tour. We cannot hold the tour for late arrivals.
Due to manufacturers restrictions on the clear kayaks the maximum weight per individual is 250lbs, and the combined weight of any two paddlers cannot exceed 425lbs

We are located behind the natives cove building. Please park on the west side of the natives cove lot. Take the stairs at the back of the lot and follow the path to the right. Your guide will meet you by our launch behind the kayak rack. Please excuse our dust as we are under construction!

Best kayaking tour I’ve been on! - Can’t say enough great things about this tour! Jared went above and beyond to make it special for me and my daughter. We enjoyed every second of it. Saw all sorts of wildlife and heard some nautical ghost stories of the area. This is a much better option for those that want to get away from the tourist traps of Fort Walton and Destin. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the coast!

I had a really good time. The night sky, the peacefulness of floating on the water & being able to just take it all in w - I loved being on the water with just the sound of the waves, the beauty of the stars & a beautiful crescent moon. It was a peaceful & leisurely pace & I had a wonderful time.

Awesome nighttime kayaking experience. - The nighttime kayaking was excellent. A lot of fun seeing the water lit up all around us and some fish swimming by, jumping out of the water all around us and one even jumped in one of the other kayaks. A small fish. Everyone had a nice time with a nice breeze so an escape from the day heat. Our guide was awesome, pointing out some of the local wildlife and critters that were around and always going at a speed that was comfortable for all. The Great Blue Herons were squawking at us in sections and bigger fish splashed around us off and on. Definitely will do again when down there next trip.

Fantastic kayak tour!! - Love that it was small group tour and the guide (and guide in training) were very knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the tour and nature/wildlife. It made the experience that much better. Even though a storm rolled in, they were calm and relaxed keeping the group safe and together. They were awesome!!

The best kayak tour on the emerald coast. - A group of us went out on the glow tour. The guide was so knowledgeable and fun! We learned so much about the history of the area and the wildlife. Alexis was the guide and she told us the best ghost story and included all of the area history. She knew about all the local wildlife and made sure we knew how to spot it. We also actually saw a homing pigeon when we pulled in. The tour was beautiful and we had the best time we will be back again very soon.

Was def a great workout - My daughter and I went together on a sunset cruise. We were supposed to go on an 845 glow trip but weather messed that up and the company was so nice and pleasant letting us change to the next evening. We rode out to a little beach area and watched the sunset. That was our favorite part.

Still waiting on pics….. - We went on this trip and when arriving we park at a vacant business and walk next door to an abandoned house and in their backyard, we depart in our plastic clear kayaks. We are expecting to bring our phones to take pics but the guide said she would take pics and would send them to us, not to worry about taking pictures. We did that and after the tour we provided our number to get the pictures. We have made so so many attempts to get the pictures and have asked several times!! So if you do go, take your own pics! Now the entire trip is only a memory and no pics!!! The ride was decent and we did see a few cool things like stingrays. Would have given them a 4 star but after nearly 2 weeks and still no resolution to getting the pictures im rating this a 2*.
