Fantastic fun and lovely food - We had such a wonderful evening food tour in Marseille with Sophie as our guide. She was so friendly and welcoming, which made us feel really comfortable as a group from the start. Everything was well prepared, and the food we tried along the way was absolutely delicious. Sophie was a fantastic host knowledgeable, fun, and easy to talk to. What made it extra special was that she even followed up afterwards with tips for the next day, which we really appreciated. It was a great experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marseille!

Great food tour in Marseille with Benjamin! Tasty dishes—unforgettable experience! - Firstly the communication in the lead up to the tour was great. We knew where we were going and who we were meeting.
We met Benjamin, our guide for the food tour and another guide in training. Benjamin was really knowledgeable and passionate about showing us and others the culinary delights of Marseille in a colourful part of the city. We had lots of fun getting to know each other over amazing food. There were many items of food we tried that got us out of our comfort zone.
The cheeses and wine were delicious to get us started. We couldn't finish them all so we opted to take the left overs home with us. We also tried some pastis along with our panisse and couldn't be more delighted by the flavours. We had a half and half pizza, 1 half had different cheeses and the other had tomato and anchovies, it was delicious.
We then went to a different eatery and tried 2 different types of fish dishes, a gravlaxed codfish (unique but tasty) and the famous sardines (my personal favourite). Here we had another nice glass of white wine.
To finish up we had a yummy ice cream, my partner and I went with flavours Benjamin suggested and we're very happy with our choices.
Benjamin gave us some great recommendations for food/snacks/produce/drinks in the area as we walked and even more suggestions after our tour had ended. This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip in Marseille, don't miss out!

Casual Bites, Cool Neighborhood - Casual and fun food tour of a very cool part of Marseille. Ines was very knowledgeable and did a great job showcasing bites from selected restaurants. Only regret is now we wish we spent more time in Marseille!

Delicious, fresh, local and Marseille TODAY. - We loved our food tour! Ines was lovely and so knowledgeable. We loved meeting and listening to the locals who hosted us in their establishments. The food was all delicious, fresh and local! Was a real treat to see a part of Marseille we would not have explored on our own. Thank you, Ines.

Fantastic Food Adventure - This was a wonderful experience. We had the chance to try local French food such as panisse, mini-sausissons, cheeses, wine, spreads, pate... We went to five different locations in the heart of the food district. Your guide was both knowledgeable and flexible. She had a strong understanding of food as well as the culture of the area. Due to the extreme heat, she ensured that the pace was appropriate and that we walked mostly in the shade. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone adventures in try new foods.

Experienced a variety of... - Experienced a variety of local/French food and drink. We especially enjoyed tasting the cheeses. Our guide, Simone, presented a great mix of history and legends and made the tour enjoyable.

Just OK - would not do it again - This tour took place in a very run down part of town that was quite scary to walk from when the tour was over. The stops were not well planned (1 was closed) and it all seemed very over priced for the experience. The guide was very nice but we didn’t learn anything on the tour about the city except to avoid that area!

Lovely guide and some interesting neighborhood stops but not reflecting the variety of Marseilles that we expected. - We enjoyed the guide and the interesting neighborhood that would not have been a place found on our own. One suggestion for future is to have the tour a bit later as it seemed a bit early and offer more variety of tastes to reflect the mosaic of cultural histories in Marseilles.
