Absolutely top-notch kitesurfing experience in Sicily! - I’ve tried kitesurfing before in Hungary (on Lake Balaton), but honestly — there’s just no comparison. This spot in Sicily is on a whole different level. I came as a beginner, and after two separate trips of three days each (although I lost a day here and there due to lack of wind — which is rare), I can confidently say this is one of the best places to learn and enjoy kitesurfing. The wind is almost always reliable, and the conditions are super safe — which was very important to me as someone starting out. What really made the difference, though, was the team. Follow the Wind is an incredible kitesurf school. Gábor and his crew not only taught me everything from scratch, but they also made sure the whole experience was fun, relaxed, and well-organized. They took us to the store if we needed something, gave us rides to the airport, helped with gear setup and packing — whatever we needed, they were there. The equipment is also top: a huge variety of kites in all sizes, harnesses, boards — you name it. I never had to wait or compromise. If the wind changed, they immediately swapped my kite for a bigger or smaller one — super smooth. I honestly can’t think of a single negative. This is how kitesurfing should be done. Professional, friendly, and totally worth every euro.

Beautiful location, perfect conditions - Absolutely great experience! Everything was spot on, from the super welcoming vibe to the top organization. Gabor, the owner, is not only incredibly passionate about kitesurfing but also attentive to everyone. You can really tell he loves what he does. The entire team was super nice and make sure we felt comfortable and supported. I felt guided with the gear choices and encouraged every step of the way. I took my first steps as an independant rider here and I couldn‘t have asked for a better environment. The people are kind, the energy is great and the spot is amazing. I‘ll definitely be back!

In every respect absolutely Mega!!! - Really, really good kite school, both for learning and renting equipment! The team is super nice and competent, so you get on the board really quickly. Even renting equipment is absolutely uncomplicated! Gabor always gives recommendations on kite size and you can change the kite at any time. There is always someone keeping an eye on you and comes to the rescue immediately, should you ever need any. Overall, the school is very family-friendly and it is a great community to which you feel directly included. So the focus is really on making sure you can have fun kiting. Very clear recommendation!!!

Had a blast - Amazing experience!! The instructors are not only highly professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly encouraging and patient — they really know how to build your confidence out on the water. The vibe is super friendly, and there’s a great sense of community among both visitors and staff. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to get into kite surfing or take their skills to the next level!

Fantastic! - What can I say except 5 stars! I had the best time with Follow the Wind. I was here only for 3 days and yet managed to progress well thanks to fantastic instructors and good quality kites. Gabor took my first few lessons and helped me with kite control and got my basics right. Adam helped me with further progression and waterstart. A huge thanks to Gabor for arranging the best learning experience for me, recommending a good hostel and food spots, and even helped with pickup from Marsala. Definitely recommend and will come back soon!

Amazing kitesurfing lessons in Sicily ! - I highly recommend Follow the Wind as a kitesurfing academy if you want to learn kitesurfing in Sicily. I had tried kitesurfing six years ago in another country without much success… But here, I managed to learn it in just three days, all in a very safe environment with an excellent instructor. After three days of lessons, I’m already able to kite on my own! I’m looking forward to coming back in the future. Thanks Gabor and Carol !
