Two Day Tour to Fes Morocco - On 29th August 2022 I was still with Kader at the end of tour to Chefchouan so we continued on with driver for a 2 day tour of Fes. Loved the drive through the wheatbelt area stoping for fresh grapes at a winery & cold drink along the 4 hour drive. At Fes we met up with local guide Aziz, a close mate of Kader from their University days. I set them a task of getting the local craftsmen a special gift for my wife, an item never produced in this region, a Moroccan Wind Chime. Of course after much research, discussion and sourcing of the parts, the job was completed brilliantly. Back on tour, the 2 guides spent many hours showing me the history of Fes, talking about the history and meeting locals. We spent time at a local home, local cafes & restaurants. My health app on the phone shows we walked around 25km in 2 days of the tour. Once again this man Kader, by now a real mate, has done his job brilliantly. Kader, driver & me will keep touring for one more day elsewhere. This man is the best, funny, full of knowledge and caring. He walks & works at the pace suitable to you.
