Marrakech /Ait Ben Haddou / Dades

Marrakech Desert Tour - After meeting you at your hotel in Marrakech after breakfast, we will head towards the High Atlas via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. This road ascends from the plains to 2260 meters above sea level, passing through small villages, waterfalls, and the ever-changing landscapes and colors of these stunning mountains. We can stop at the pass for a refreshing cup of mint tea and to admire the scenery before continuing to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where we will arrive in time for lunch. Here, we can visit the famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the filming location for movies like The Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, The Legionary, The Sheltering Sky, and many others. We will also visit the town of Ouarzazate, the Kasbah of Taourirt, and the Atlas Studios, the largest and most renowned movie studios in Africa. Then, we will pass through Ouarzazate, the famous Valley of Roses, and the Dades Valley, reaching the Dades Gorges for dinner and an overnight stay.

Dades / Todra Gorges / Merzouga or Erfoud

Merzouga - In the morning, after breakfast, you will take a walk through the Dades Gorges, and then drive along the road of the 1000 Kasbahs, passing through Tineghier village and historical Kasbahs, arriving at the Todra Gorges in time for lunch. After a walk in the Gorges, we will head to the Merzouga desert via Erfoud, arriving before sunset. Here, we will leave our car at a hotel and enjoy dinner with Saharan drums.

Merzouga / Erg Chebbi

Erg Chebbi - After breakfast and some rest, we will start a half-day visit in the desert to explore its various aspects, passing through small villages where we will stop to listen to Saharan music in El Khamlia. We will visit the oasis and Rissani, the first capital of the Alouite dynasty, including some historical Kasbahs and the famous market. You will have the chance to taste the local Berber pizza. We will then return to Merzouga. After a rest and some mint tea, the guide and camels will be ready to take you across the sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on camelback, and after an hour, you will reach the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent. At your desert shelter, your camels will be hobbled, and mint tea will be served. After a delightful dinner, you can watch the stars and spend the night in the Berber tent.

Merzouga / Errachidia / Medilt / Ifrane / Fez

Middle Atlas - In the morning, you can wake up early, take a walk over the sand dunes, and watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50 km from Merzouga. We will take camels back to the hotel. After breakfast, a shower, and some rest, we will start our journey back to Fez, passing through the Ziz Valley, Berber villages, the Middle Atlas, and the cedar forests.
