Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil 1740m – Toubkal Refuge 3207m

Guests will be collected from their accommodation in Marrakech and driven to the Imlil valley, where the trek begins. Upon meeting the local team, the journey will commence through the Aït Mizane valley, passing the village of Aremd, the sanctuary of Sidi Chamarouch, and a nearby waterfall. The trek continues on steep paths leading to the Toubkal refuge, where the night will be spent. (4-5 hours of walking)

Day 2: Refuge 3207m – Toubkal summit 4167m – Refuge 3207m – Imlil 1740m – Marrakech

The day starts early to ascend Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Trekkers will cross streams and navigate rocky terrain. Upon reaching the plateau, a break is taken to admire the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Marrakesh plain and the High Atlas to the north, and the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara to the south. After reaching the summit, the descent begins back to the mountain’s base, then to Imlil, and finally to Marrakech. Approximately 9 hours of walking plus a 1.5-hour drive.
