They know everything about the desert and will magically share with you all its powers and beauty. The food three times a day was so hospitable, so lovingly made, and everything in abundance. Every evening, we ate Tajine by the campfire, sharing tea, silence, and stories. Afterward, the team took us on a musical journey of rhythmic drums, singing, and clapping by the fire. I felt transported to a pure Arabian fairytale, with a sea of candles, like in 1001 nights. The feeling "just being in that moment" overwhelms you and is unforgettable and indescribable. I was searching for space and silence, both around me and within myself. Beacuse I was so back to basics it touched me by the essence of my being I found my answers in the Sahara. I'm going home completely different than when I left. And I know this feeling will never go away. I've taken Morocco into my heart. I found here something that I wasn't looking for, but what I found that was exactly what I needed. Only when you've experienced silence, you do understand that it truly exists. Deep gratitude for that! Four days of hiking in this vibrant, incredibly diverse environment and five nights of sleeping under the starry sky. My ultimate dream was to be able to see magical Milky Way, and I did. It was breathtakingly beautiful! Everything about this trip.
