Tizi n Tichka - Depart early in the morning from Marrakech, heading towards Ouarzazate via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains.

Ait Ben Haddou - (optional) Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a historical legacy of the trade caravans that traveled from South Africa to Moroccan cities, reflecting the Amazigh lifestyle of that era. Ait Ben Haddou is recognized as a historic site with its cohesive kasbahs, leading UNESCO to designate it as a world heritage site. It is a prime artistic destination, often used for international film productions, and is surrounded by a wall that reflects the historical conflicts of the time. The site also features a castle at the top and is near the town of Ouarzazate.

Agdz - Passing through Agdz, a charming village in the Anti-Atlas Mountains, located in the expansive Drâa Valley in southern Morocco. Known for its traditional Amazigh (Berber) heritage, ancient kasbahs, and lush palm groves, Agdz (also spelled Agdez) is a perfect lunch stop after a long journey.

Alnif - Alnif is a small, remote town in southeastern Morocco, situated between the Jbel Saghro mountains and the edge of the Sahara Desert. Renowned for its arid landscapes, intriguing geological history, and Amazigh (Berber) culture, Alnif is a unique destination for travelers interested in fossils, desert landscapes, and local traditions. It is a must-see in the region.

Merzouga - Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon or early evening. Meet your desert guides and embark on a camel ride through the dunes. This journey will lead you to a camp where you will spend the night. Enjoy traditional Berber music, a campfire, and stargazing in the serene Sahara.

Merzouga - Todgha Gorge - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Merzouga - Rise early to witness the magical sunrise over the sand dunes. Enjoy breakfast at the camp before heading to the Todgha Gorge, where you will spend 30 minutes before continuing to the “city of roses.”

El Kelaa M’gouna - Known as the “city of roses,” Kalaat M’Gouna is a delightful town in the Dades Valley of the High Atlas Mountains. Famous for its stunning roses that bloom throughout the valley each spring, the town hosts an annual rose festival that attracts visitors worldwide. If time permits, visit the rose cooperative; otherwise, continue the journey to Marrakech.

Marrakech - Return to Marrakech. The journey back is shorter, though some stops, such as lunch in Ouarzazate, may extend the travel time.
