After lots of adventurous... - After lots of adventurous outings, we decided to take this class for our artistically inclined daughter, and it did not disappoint! The class included a tutorial on brewing Moroccan mint tea, painting a ceramic, creating jewelry, and weaving a carpet. There was also a delicious lunch that was provided. While the activities were fun and engaging, the experience was special because of Fatima and Maryam. They were so patient with our seven-year old and not only made her feel spoiled, but also taught us all about materials we take for granted. For example, we weren't just given yarn to weave, we were given wool that we carded, then hand rolled, and finally dyed with natural pigments. We highly recommend this experience as a creative oasis amid the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Thank you Fatima and Maryam!

Everyone should do this experience - Such an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we experienced warm hospitality. Tea making ceremy was so interesting and authentically fun too Mariam, who did the jewellery and painting experience, was so lovely. Such patience when my daughter who wanted to create a really detailed design. I loved chatting to her and found her to have such a warm heart. Dinner was delicious, and even the carpet making (which i didn't expect ) was delivered with a story. All in all, I would recommend this experience to adults and families. We learnt a lot and made some fantastic friends with all our hosts. Thank you to all at the media mall for looking after us for the day

Excellent family experience - Excellent family experience, exceeded expectations. Both adults and children (ages 7 and 9) enjoyed it. Delicious lunch and tea included. You learn about and make tea, paint cups or dishes, make jewelry (beaded bracelet and necklace), learn about and practice wool crafting and rug making. You can have an instructor in your chosen language and you will learn a lot about traditional craft making and culture. I think it is a private class as it was just us 4 with the instructor so that was nice. All our questions were answered. Thank you Fatima and Miriam. You get to keep what you make! It is located at Medina mall which is very nice setting, more quiet and chilled out. Art and crafts shops there. Length of experience about 4hrs including lunch. Highly recommend this.

FULLY RECOMMENDED - An amazing experience, both Fatima and Yousra are lovely, they help you in everything, they are very aware that all activities go well and enjoy. We loved spending the morning with them, first they explain the workshop in great detail and then you go through it. Fully recommended, we have left very very happy. The unbeatable treatment, the tea activity with the cool Berber and the great food.

A beautiful way to end our trip - When I read the itinerary I was only expecting to do the painting and jewellery making. This workshop exceeded my expectations. First I learnt how to make Moroccan tea our teacher was so handsome with an infectious smile he was polite and charming. Next was the painting at the owner’s workshop. She was so lovely and kind and made us feel at home giving us a lovely history lesson. The jewellery making was therapeutic and relaxing. The carpet making with Fatima was amazing she also gave a detailed history lesson. I learnt how to weave the carpet and dye the wool with natural pigment. The only thing we did not do was have lunch as we had a prior engagement. If you are thinking of attending you won’t finish until at least 2pm.
