- Ben Youssef Madrasa - was one of the largest theological colleges in North Africa and may have housed as many as 900 students. One of its best known teachers was Mohammed al-Ifrani (1670-1745). Closed down in 1960, the building was refurbished and reopened to the public as an historical site in 1982.

Incredible tour especially at the beginning of your trip! - I would highly recommend booking this tour with Yassine. We are staying in the old city and decided to book this tour at the beginning of our trip to get a better sense of where everything is and how to navigate around. Yassine was not only super helpful in this regard but also very knowledgeable about every detail. We got a thorough tour of the main sights, but he also brought us to many obscure places we would never have stumbled upon without him, including a Moroccan rug experience, a traditional Moroccan pharmacy, and a pashmina souk shop. He gladly took us to a synagogue upon request and shared some very interesting stories about Moroccan Jewish culture. He is charismatic and super enjoyable to be around and listen to. His English is very clear and will recommend him to my friends and family whenever they visit Morocco.

Our recent tour with Yassine as our guide was an absolute delight! From start to finish, he provided an exceptional experience that made our trip unforgettable.
Yassine’s command of English is excellent, making it easy to follow along as he explained the history and significance of each tourist spot. He went into great detail, sharing fascinating stories and insights that brought the locations to life. His passion and deep knowledge about the area’s history, culture, and landmarks were evident throughout the tour.

Memorable experience - Marrakech is a visit-worth place anyway but Yassine made it even better. The itinerary itself isn’t that special but the comments during the visits of both the madressa and the palace were helpful and deepened my understanding of both places. We had two expert bargainers on the tour resulting in a lot of fun, a big delay and some bargains. What a memorable experience!

The perfect experience to start your holiday - Our Guide Yassine made the experience truly special. In addition to guided tours of the various palaces, he guided us in the Medina souks, making us find places that only locals know. He gave us a lot of information about Moroccan culture, which proved useful in the following days. The program is quite elastic, in fact we have done much more than indicated.
The tour was very exhaustive, and I strongly Recommendation to do it as a first experience upon arrival in Marrakech.

Great start of my Moroccan vacation - Yassine is a fantastic guide who took us on a tour of all the main sights in Marrakech. He was knowledgeable and made the tour fun, flexible when we asked him to be and very accommodating. He also showed us where to buy water and other essentials and made the start of my trip in Morocco very smooth

Amazing Experience - Having been nervous to go into the centre of Marrakech on our own, we arranged a tour with Yassine. To say we had a great time would be an understatement! He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and adapted the tour to show us the things we were most interested in. He had lots of stories to tell and answered all our random questions without blinking :-) Highlights included mint tea in a restaurant one of the friends from his village worked in and wandering through the souk. I felt completely safe as all times and would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing day tour in the Medina! - What a great day in the Medina with our amazing guide Yassine! He was so knowledgeable and fun and always smiling. As a solo traveler, he was also always willing to take such nice pictures of me and help me with anything I needed! 10/10 would recommend!!!
