cannot recommend highly enough .... book it ! - Second time booking with this company, and cannot recommend highly enough .... best way to see the souk, and to enjoy all the great food as the locals do. Chama was the perfect guide, knew all the vendors, and took us to places we hadn't been to on our first food tour in 2022 - her enthusiasm and knowledge made this tour the best thing we did on our trip to Marrakesh. Book it !

A highlight of our visit to Marrakech - We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour. Not only was our guide knowledgeable about the food and a charming host, she also taught us a lot about Moroccan culture and history. We tried a range of local specialties that we likely would not have found on our own. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Lovely evening with Chama - Excellent food tour with Chama. She messaged us the day before to confirm meeting place & time. Everywhere she took us was filled with locals and we ended up eating at one of the places 2 more times. We enjoyed trying foods such as the stuffed pancake and the donuts that we would likely not have tried on our own. And we couldn't believe that dinner was still to come after we had so many tastings! Chama was also really helpful giving us guidance to proper pricing of items in the square and recommending additional stores & restaurants. She even pushed our young son in his stroller so we could focus on the atmosphere and the food! Thank you, Chama,!

Best way to orient yourself to the chaotic & amazing Marrakech Medina - Amazing food tour with Faty. It was also a way to orient ourselves around the busy and overwhelming Marrakech Medina—-we went back to the Medina again at a later date and knew our way around better because Faty had shown the way around with the food tour. She was flexible, personable, easy to reach on Watsapp, and provided valuable information about cooking techniques. She took us to local joints that you have to squeeze in to get in and we got to sample breakfast items such as MsMen & Bisara soup, a cactus plant, and different kind of olives and the Omar Sandwich. The absolutely highlight were the Mechoui (goat roasted in underground ovens: you need to see it to believe it) AND the Tangia which is a specialty of the very popular & always-crowded Chez Lamaine Hadj Mustapha! I always find food tours to be a fantastic way to orient oneself to a new place and learn about the culture from a local and eating at local places and this tour was certainly a major highlight of our Morocco trip. Our young kids thoroughly enjoyed this tour and also hanging out with Faty.

Food tour - Amazing tour. Our guide went above and beyond what we expected. We tasted lots of different local foods and learned so much about the city. Our guide took us through parts of the Medina we never would have found ourselves and was willing to answer all our question and always with a smile! Will be one of our favorite memories of our time in Marrakech.

Tariks the coolest guide showed us an authentic view of the medina - Tarik was an amazing guide, it felt like getting dinner with friends and meeting all these amazing different shop owners and seeing all the different corners of the market. This is a must do for your first time in marrakech

Guide was great but tour not worth the price - Our Marrakech food guide Tarik was friendly, mellow and knowledgeable. Our stops included (1) the olive market, (2) a dessert shop with a fruit smoothy, (3) donuts, (4) a street vendor who made us a ‘pita pocket’ with egg and onion, (5) a shop serving cow udder [“tastes just like cheese” …NOT!], and (6) a restaurant serving tangia with poor meat quality. He thought we might be able to stop for some cow spleen too, but the shop was closed. While our guide and the couple with us were great, my daughter and I do not think that the tour was worth the 60 euro per person price for samples of cheap street food.
