- Imlil - People who aren’t from the area are always taken aback by the warmth and candor with which the locals go about their daily lives when they are in the mountains visiting for the first time. Hiking in the High Atlas Mountains is one of the finest potential experiences that can be had in Morocco since it allows for the discovery of a world that is both breathtakingly beautiful and utterly unique.
Imlil is a little Berber settlement located in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, and our car drives us there. The mules and the muleteers have already been waiting for us, and after a cup of tea to celebrate our arrival, we will get started.
- Aroumd - Uphill and downhill, the trek takes us through landscapes with wonderful views of Toubkal National Park and Mount Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa. The mules transport us safely and with caution over the small roads that we pass through. On this leg of our journey, we will visit the Jewish community of Aroumd. Within these walls, in the home of a Berber family, we will break for lunch and sip mint tea. Following this break for refreshments, we will proceed with our trip, and in the late afternoon, our transportation will bring us back to Marrakech.
