Discover Marrakech by bike - Our guide jawad was a perfect guide. We were a small group(6) and he told a lot. We cycled for over 3 hours followed by a ginger lemon with cookies

Superb bike tour of Marrakech with Pikala - The Pikala Bikes tour of Marrakech was perfect, a really good way to experience the old city. Small group with two excellent guides, thank you to Haitam and Kenza. The only advice I'd give - you need to be confident cyclist as there are lots of twisty alleyways and the motorbike traffic is crazy!

A different way to see the Medina - An interesting way to see the Medina! Whilst the bikes aren't in the best condition they were OK around the cobbled streets. Our guide made several stops at places normal tourists wouldn't get to see. My wife found it a bit scary at times dodging pedestrians, scooters and donkeys through some very narrow alleyways. However for me it was great fun!

Perfect way to see the real Marrakech - The tour was really enjoyable - getting to see the different areas on a bike meant we could cover a good distance but also see the real Marrakech and be amongst the hustle and bustle. Said was our tour guide and was so friendly, knowledgeable and just generally a lovely person, especially answering all my questions! It was the perfect way to start our trip. I'll definitely be returning.

Be part of the medina traffic chaos! - For me, this was the best thing we did in Marrakech. I never thought I would have been joining the chaos of the medina traffic of mopeds, other bikes, hand carts and donkeys - but I did, and loved it. The guides, Yassir and Andelbasset were charming and knowledgeable and we saw some places we would never have seen otherwise. Love the ethos of this company as well. Would definitely do this again on another visit and spend more time in their v. cool cafe too.

A dangerous disaster - No regard for safety whatsoever. Poorly maintained bikes, no helmet offered. No testing to see if the bike was actually rideable. Just hop on and go! The bikes in the picture is not what you get. After a chaotic start and the first hour of riding fearing for my life trying to avoid getting run into / over by other cyclists or mopeds along tight alleyways, I gave up and walked away shaking and very upset. The guide was more annoyed that he had a bike to be collected than my experience and wellbeing. It’s a real shame as I wanted to support this social enterprise, but when guest safety is at risk, amateur behaviour such as this is not acceptable.
