Awesome - I went to Chez Ali during my stay in Marrakech, and it was a night to remember. The atmosphere felt straight out of a fairytale—dinner in a luxurious tent followed by a show full of music, belly dancers, fireworks, and even horse stunts. It’s definitely touristy, but in the best way—super entertaining, well-organized, and a great way to dive into Moroccan culture for an evening.

Great night at Ali's! - Frankly, we loved our evening. The setting is beautiful, the welcome top, and we eat great. Tajine, couscous, harira... everything was good!
The show is really nice, between horses, dances, music, and fireworks at the end.
A beautiful Moroccan experience, to do at least once when you are in Marrakech.

Poor entertainment, the food was mediocre. - It wasn't worth the money. The majority of the dancers that came to the table weren't dancers and didn't even try. The entertainment was very poor compared to another venue we had gone to earlier. We were disappointed.

Not worth it - Was super excited to come and experience this place, but it ended up being a major letdown. Everything felt incredibly artificial and staged—definitely more of a tourist trap than an authentic experience. Our table service was painfully slow, even though we were just a party of three and among the first seated in our tent. We ended up being the last to leave simply because we had to wait so long for our food.
When it finally came time to pay for our drinks, we were overcharged, which just added to the frustration. The entertainment had already started by the time we were served our fruit platte. The food itself was okay, nothing memorable, and there were barely any pastries despite them being advertised.
Adding to the disappointment, the group of performers who went around singing at each table completely skipped ours. What little we did catch of the show wasn’t anything special—and honestly, I felt awful for the animals involved. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. Definitely not worth the hype.

Show without much interest - Without much interest, the dinner is decent (couscous without too much flavor, fruit ), drinks to add, a rather aggressive photo seller ... ( 3 € a photo ), an uninteresting "show" and it is sorely lacking in light games that gives meaning, no scenario, in short a not unpleasant but uninteresting evening.

Would request a refund. Low value to cost of event. - Buildings EXTERIOR LIGHTING was awesome.
However, after that, everything went downhill.
Poor quality and quantity of food. There were 6 of us on 1 chicken breast. There was no explanation of what was being served. Waiting time was very long. Prices on 1 bottled water and 1 minted tea came to $120 DIR, and then the waiter demanded a tip.
The show was on scale of 1-5 (2.5 rating).
The fireworks was very good. This was not worth the price paid.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE - Very bad dinner, the next day a local guide told us that the dishes are made from days ago, and heated before serving them, plus they mix the leftovers of the diners from the previous days, then we understood why it was impossible to eat it.
Once that phase enters the one of the drink, which does not enter, they do not warn you, and charge you what they want pointed on a paper by hand, without any justification of prices, and protests come to coerce you with threats. Then we saw the system, the bartender doubles the price, and we figured out that he's left that half in his pocket, because the table next door refused to pay and they dropped the price to half and with a printed box ticket... so the cameos do their business.
Conclusion: terrible dinner, very expensive, threats, insufferable spectacle with sheep, shepherds and horses circling a circuit... a accumulation of purposeless.
I understand that the non-negative reviews that are hanging must be from the owners of the place because all of us who were there said the same thing.
Therefore, not recommended, in fact, site to avoid if you are traveling to Marrakech.

ROBO - Dismal experience, a robbery for clueless tourists. The reservation for adults is 55€, the surprise is that then they come to demand payment for all the drink, 75€ for 4 soft drinks and 4 beers. And on top of that, they're pushing you to tip... a whole lot of sloppiness. I really don't understand any positive reviews. The show is short and nasty.

Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended for Solo Travelers - Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended for Solo Travelers
I booked this experience back in February, well in advance, and specifically requested pick-up and drop-off from my accommodation, providing the full address as required.
On the day of the event, I hadn’t received any communication, so I reached out to confirm the pick-up time and ask about the appropriate dress code. Eventually, I received a message informing me that I would need to meet the driver at a different location because “they can't get the car close to your accommodation.”
As a solo traveler, this was concerning, especially since it was at night. I expressed my discomfort multiple times, but my concerns were brushed off. We eventually compromised on a location about a 7-minute walk from where I was staying, but I was still dropped off there at the end of the evening despite clearly stating I felt unsafe walking alone in the dark.
There was no guide accompanying the group, and I was seated with people who did not speak either of the languages I speak, which made the experience quite isolating.
Upon arrival at the venue, the service was rushed and disorganized. I had to repeatedly ask for basic things like bread, cutlery, and water—waiting so long that I left without even receiving tea as the show was about to start.
On a positive note, the food I did receive was tasty, and the show itself was enjoyable and interesting. However, the overall experience was poorly managed and lacked the promised attention to guest comfort and safety.
Not recommended—especially if you're doing other excursions like a desert trip. Only consider this if you have time to kill and don’t mind a few headaches.
