DAY 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades Valley

Marrakech - This memorable tour begins with a picturesque drive from Marrakech over the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2,260 m), where traditional Berber villages can be seen along the roadside, with locals engaged in their daily activities. There is an optional stop at a women’s cooperative where Argan oil is extracted and processed into cooking oil and cosmetics.

Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - Just before reaching the Hollywood city of Ouarzazate, there is a chance to visit the renowned Kasbah of Aït-Ben-Haddou, an ancient fortified clay city with numerous kasbahs. This site has been the backdrop for several famous films such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Game of Thrones, and Prince of Persia (no entrance fee required). Lunch can be enjoyed at one of the local restaurants. The Atlas Studio movie museum is located just across the road (entrance fee applies).

Vallee Des Roses - The journey continues through the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley, where the first overnight stay is planned. Approximately 325 kilometers drive.

DAY 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga

Gargantas del Todra - After breakfast, the trip proceeds along the road of a thousand Kasbahs to the breathtaking Todra Gorges. The Todra River has carved these impressive 300-meter-high walls over thousands of years. This is a perfect opportunity for photography and a short walk in the Gorges and along the riverside.

Erfoud - Following lunch in Tinjdad city, the drive continues through Erfoud town, known for its fossil workshops, to reach the desert. Here, a friendly camel guide will lead the way to the camp on camelback. Upon arrival, climb the high dunes to enjoy the stunning views as the sun sets. Settle into a private tent and enjoy mint tea before a traditional dinner is served. Spend the night stargazing or dancing around the campfire to the rhythm of desert drums. Dinner will be served in the Berber tents. Approximately 270 kilometers drive.

DAY 3: Merzouga - N’kob - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Merzouga - Rise early to witness the first rays of sunlight over the desert. Enjoy breakfast at the camp before riding the camel back to Merzouga. The return journey through the Draa Valley towards Marrakech includes stops at various sites to capture the beauty of this stunning valley and its river, the longest in Morocco (alternative routes may be taken if weather conditions are unstable).

Marrakech - After lunch along the way, the journey concludes with a return to Marrakech. Approximately 500 kilometers.
