An amazing experience soaring over the Moroccan dessert..should not be missed when in Marrakech - From start to finish this tour was so exceptional.. we were picked up from our Riad directly and taken through the early morning darkness to the dessert launch site.. our transfer provided by the tour was clean and on time.. we were checked in and a good breakfast of coffee and croissants was provided before we watched the balloon’s being inflated. Safety briefing completed we were guided to one of the balloons.. and then we were floating over the Moroccan dessert.. gliding higher and higher.. our pilot was superb guiding the balloon and basket around each viewpoint before the sun rose over the Atlas Mountains… giving every guest the perfect photo opportunity.. he also had a great sense of humour and had everybody in the basket in fits of laughter.. it was so peaceful and quite awe inspiring.. this was a must do when visiting Marrakech, great value for money, and great fun ( even after getting up at 4.30am ) you even get a hand signed certificate that you have completed the balloon ride.. that sits proudly on my wall at home… In Conclusion.. Just Do It you will love it.

Brilliant balloon flight - Amazing flight this morning with Ciel d’Afrique. Very professional company, well organised and our pilot - Jonathan - and our balloon team were fantastic. Great fun and great views over the Atlas Mountains just as the sun was rising. Would highly recommend both the company and the experience. Would definitely go again.

Highly Recommended Sunrise Hot Air Ballon Flight - you will not be disappointed! - FANTASTIC! There are cheaper options however everything about our flight was exceptional and we would highly recommend Ciel d'Afrique. The communication was spot on, giving us timings and driver contact details. From the moment that we were picked up at our hotel in a swish Range Rover, exactly on-time, we knew that we were in the hands of a quality operation and that feeling never left us. Everyone was excellent, very friendly and ultra professional. We felt really well looked after the whole time.
Our pilot Jonathan, was brilliant. He made the flight so interesting and was keen to ensure that everyone had a unforgettable time. We opted for a video and the camera guy was fun (so sorry we didn't remember everyones name) and the footage captures our experience perfectly :-)

Magical experience - Absolutely magical experience! Flying a hot air balloon and enjoying the sunrise over the Atlas is simply unforgettable. The organization was perfect, the team very professional & friendly, and the smooth flight offered us beautiful panoramas. A timeless moment, to live absolutely!

A beautiful morning over Marrakech - This was the perfect way to wake up in Marrakech! The transport picked me and my friends up from the hotel around 7.15am, taking us to the hot air balloon camp. After a tea and a croissant, we took to the sky, with our pilot Jonathan keeping us informed, entertained, and feeling safe. It was an experience I won't forget in a hurry, and very worth the money.

An unforgettable experience! - What an amazing flight!! The view of the sun rising over the Atlas mountains from the air was absolutely breathtaking - it's a sight I'll remember for the rest of my life.
From the welcome breakfast before the flight, to the drone video of the flight itself, to the quick retrieve, everyone was clearly working hard to make it a safe and special experience. We felt well looked after the entire time. Extra special thanks to our pilot Anne, who really went above and beyond to take care of us all, and clearly has a passion for sharing the joy of flight with others. We had huge smiles on our faces the entire time - thank you all so much!!
In short, if you'd like to see a special African sunrise like no other, then sign up now - it's worth every penny, you really won't regret it!

Breathtaking views and such an amazing experience! - We were kept informed by messages on pick-up schedule and were picked up on time from our hotel early in the morning by Yousaf (our driver), transported to the balloon flight area, where we had a light breakfast prior to the flight.
Our Pilot - Bashir was knowledgeable, experienced and calm, making sure everyone felt safe during the flight. He kept everyone engaged and shared interesting information about the flight and the local region. His smooth piloting skills let us enjoy the stunning views without any worries.
After the flight, there’s a traditional Moroccan breakfast, adding to the overall experience before dropping back to the Hotel. The team also took photos before and during the flight.
I would definitely recommend and would return again.

Timeless moment - It was simply a timeless moment. Great team, efficient, smiling and very kind. Special mention to Salah who was our aeronaut. Do not hesitate to do so and even if you are dizzy, go ahead because we are very comfortable in these balloons which allowed me not to even be dizzy!

Beautiful and safe balloon ride - Great experience this was. What a minus was that the duration of the trip was only 40 minutes (rounded up!) and we did not go too high. Maybe I imagined more of it. Incidentally, the staff was very professional and everything felt very safe. Our "pilot" was great and took a picture of everyone. Also, you won't be crammed into baskets with many other passengers, and there's plenty of room. Perhaps the trip took a short time (I suspect) due to the somewhat stronger wind that day and the pilot thought landing safely was more important than a longer trip. You are, of course, at the mercy of nature.
