Amazing Culinary Journey with Yaya! - I had an incredible experience on this food tour in Marrakech, guided by the amazing Yahya, who likes to go by Yaya. His enthusiasm and knowledge made this a truly memorable evening. The variety of food was outstanding — we sampled over 15 different types of traditional Moroccan dishes and snacks. From sweet dates and crunchy nuts to adventurous bites like snails and sheep’s head, every stop on the tour offered something unique. The highlight for me was trying the traditional tangia, a slow-cooked dish bursting with flavor. Yaya’s passion for Moroccan cuisine and culture was evident throughout the tour. He explained the history and significance of each dish, making the experience both educational and delicious. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for an authentic taste of Morocco, this tour is a must. Highly recommend!

Excellent introduction to Marrakech food - Our guide (Ayub?) was knowledgeable and took note of any allergies and specific requests from our small group. He outlined a plan and checked we were all happy. The pace was good, allowing sufficient time at each stop. We tried msemen crepes then on to another stop for soup, sheep's head, dates and a pastry dish. Next stop was snails (I declined these). We had a stop at an olive stall, which was fantastic, I could have stayed there all evening. We then stopped at a pastilla place, trying delicious sweet specialties and finally another stall with a huge selection of nut based delicacies. We then had dinner on a rooftop terrace - lentil soup, a Tangia, (beef cooked slowly in a clay pot) and finally yoghurt. The tour was generous, the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and I would definitely recommend it if you have a free evening in Marrakech.

Walking foodie tour - Fabulous foodie tour that is a must when in Marrakesh!! Walk the streets and taste and learn about local foods (from nuts to dates to snails to treats) finishing at a local restaurant for dinner. I do these tours in every city I visit and it’s just the best way to learn so much. Our guide was awesome accommodating and was happy to answer our questions. A must do when here
