Must do - Highly recommend to anyone, our guide was Ismail, he was very friendly and imformative. We done a lovely walk but remember to wear good footwear and be prepared for a walk! The berber House we went too for lunch was amazing and really got to experience the cultural food. The argon oil experience was amazing really got to know and all the women in there was so friendly. Amazing trip overall and met some amazing people on this trip too. Mixture of couples on the trip but all got along very well.

Tenmirt Mohamed! - We had a fabulous day in the Atlas Mountains with Mohamed. He shared so much local knowledge with us and kept us all amused with his humour too. He patiently taught us Arabic and Berber words and encouraged us to use them throughout the trip. He introduced us to Ali who took us on a fascinating guided hike around his home village and surrounding area. A little further on we met Fatima and Amina who had cooked us a beautiful lunch - the most delicious Tagine we have tasted. The views on this trip are spectacular and Mohamed’s driving is top notch - careful and steady around the mountain roads. Tenmirt Mohamed!

Wat een gastvrij land! - A great tourguide, nice and energetic. He knows all there was to know. The walk with the local guide was also very special. A great guy who knew everyone we met from the villages. Nice freshly picked fruit available along the route! Breakfast and lunch were in wonderful locations. The food was delicious, the places very clean and authentic. Great hospitality from everyone we met.

An amazing experience - It was an amazing trip with Ismail. He is very knowledgeable and the trip from start till the end was very entertaining. Ismail shared with us many interesting facts about the area. It gave us a better understanding of the local traditions, language and lifestyle. So many spectacular views and breathtaking sceneries. A special moment is a coffee/tea next to a river, and visit to a Berber village. We walked next to apple trees, and could test some at the local village, tea was so refreshing and tasty. After the hike there was a delicious lunch. The quality of meat and freshness of the meal is something outstanding, you cannot find it in the city. And there were very less tourists, so all the experience felt very unique.

Great day out in the mountains - We had a great day out with Ismail. He was friendly and helpful throughout the day and made it a fun journey, involving all the passengers. The scenery is wonderful and there were plenty of opportunities to stop for photos. Thanks also to Abdul for leading the hike and to the family who made us a delicious lunch, which for us was vegan. I recommend this trip as a great escape into the fresh air from the noise and heat of the city.

Fantastic trip! Go for it! - Amazing day trip with stunning views of the Atlas mountains. Our tour guide - Muhammad No.1 was fantastic, super friendly and knowledgeable. Our hiking guide Ali took us through the Berbers' villages to see how they live. The lunch was at a Berbers family's orchard. The food was so delicious and generously portioned! It's a small group and we get to know our lovely companions. Definitely recommend this trip.

A must when visiting Morocco! Just incredible 💗 - Could not recommend this tour more! From the minute our guide Ismail picked us up we were met with such a great positive, kind and selfless energy. I’ve never met someone who knows so much information not only about his own country but about all of ours on the tour too! We learnt so much about literally everything and everywhere! We were laughing from the get go and he made absolutely sure we were all enjoying! We stopped off in a women’s co op where they cooked us fresh bread with some beautiful dips and tea for breakfast. We were then shown the products they make which were just lovely! The mountains were just stunning and reminded us so much of northern Vietnam - Ha Giang! Our guide was so friendly and showed us around a couple of the Berber villages, he took us into his own home town and showed us around the village, invited us into his family home where they kindly provided fresh apples and tea. We were shown a traditional Berber house which was so interesting! The walk was lovely down into the valley and then up into the villages. We were dropped off for food at the last village we went through and the lovely people cooking our food were so hospitable the food was incredible! We loved every minute of the tour and will definitely be recommending it to anyone we know coming to Morocco! Ismail you absolutely made our trip and we hope to meet you again one day on our return! Thank you so much 😊

Best adventure of our week in Morocco!!! - My wife and I were not sure what to expect when we booked this trip, but from the pickup to the drop-off back at our Riad, everything was perfectly executed by our excellent guide, Anas! Anas was pleasant and funny, full of knowledge, and knew the exact times to just let my wife and I enjoy the splendor of our surroundings. I would ask for Anas by name if you choose this tour. The drive to the mountains was fabulous. The first stop was a step into the past and we saw how traditional Berber ways were used to cook and make Argan oil. The honey and “Berber Nutella” was delicious with the traditional bread they made fresh for us. The next stop was by a river with many old traditional Berber buildings. Our host made the most-delicious espresso for me and my wife had a freshly-squeezed orange juice. The best she had ever drank. After a relaxing visit waterside, we began our journey to the mountains. All of the valleys were very different, but the 3rd valley, Siti Faris, stole our hearts. We stopped in a small village and met with a local Berber guide, named Ali. He hiked us through his village, where locals gave us apples they had just picked from their trees. We walked through building projects and the ruins of hundreds of years of history. Eventually, we ended up at a local home where 2 ladies made us a traditional meal, called Tanjia. It was delectably delicious, and was served with Berber tea, which is my new favorite drink. The highlight of the entire tour was the 3 children who played near us, who eventually developed enough courage to come talk to us. Perhaps because we were missing our own children, or maybe due to their shear innocent curiosity in these two strangers from a far land, my wife and I became endeared to them. We spent 30 minutes trying to cross a massive language barrier and finally settled on our phone to show the pictures from our own life. They were transfixed on pictures of our children and a life very different than their own. We left having our hearts touched from our meeting. The remainder of the trip was filled with incredible views and hospitality from our guide, Anas. If you are on the fence about whether to choose this authentic tour, don’t be. If you want an authentic experience…this is it! I’ll leave you with a closing thought. Many of the tours we experienced on this trip said they had air conditioning, but most either wouldn’t use it or it didn’t work. Ana’s’ new Toyota Landcruiser was pristinely clean and had COLD AIR CONDITIONING the entire trip! A must have in Africa.

Tour of real life in Morocco with great food and spectacular scenery. - What a fantastic trip! Abdul was a superb tour guide and a walking encyclopedia. It was great to meet local villagers who welcomed us into their homes. Lots of information that you wouldn't get from a standard tour. There was also a bonus donkey ride if you wanted one! The lunch was the best food we have had on our trip so far. Highly recommended.
