Exceptional gardens - The gardens are located around 45 minute drive from Marrakesh (book a tour, take a taxi, or hire a car) just before the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. The site was created from nothing during fairly recent history and is one of the most unique botanical gardens I have visited. The planting and design has crammed so much in such a relatively small piece of land. Some really clever modern sculptures and features complement some really clever planting of indigenous and imported plants. There is also a good cafe and small shop as well as a great viewing platform. There is also an excellent small gallery of interesting pieces. If you love gardens this is a gem of a place to visit from Marrakesh. Very highly recommended.

Peaceful and fun - Wonderful, quirky, peaceful garden with something different around every corner. Well worth the trip out of Marrakech. Great views of the Atlas mountains from the roof of the cafe.

Beautiful and relaxing visit. - 26/2/25, easy to get tickets on website, but you also must book seats on the mini bus,it’s free and easy to locate (it’s on the road behind the Katoubia mosque) they will check names before setting off. 45mins travel time, but we’ll worth it, there’s a small cafe, which has fantastic views if you sit upstairs on the terrace. When we visited there wasn’t too many people so it was peaceful and quiet .The garden is is not massive but feels bigger because of the maze like paths allowing you to just wander aimlessly about. The plants are beautiful and the funky statues & artwork make for a really lovely place to just stroll around. We had plenty of time to have a bite to eat and still enjoy the garden before the bus time to return, it was about 2 1/2 hours in the garden. A fantastic experience, definitely recommend a visit.

The Garden of Shifting Moods - It is well worth embarking on a roughly 30‐minute journey from Marrakesh to visit this enchanting garden. Allow yourself the time to uncover every creative detail. As the sun moves, the garden reveals entirely new moods. What André Heller has conjured here is simply awe-inspiring!

Peaceful and original park - Park away from the bustle, peaceful and very original. You have to open your eyes because little surprises throughout the visit. When we retraced our steps, we discovered some things we missed at the first pass. The small bar restaurant has a very nice view of the park and the Atlas and it was good.

Beautiful gardens - Leaving the city of Marakesh behind, you will enjoy the clean air in these beautiful gardens. Here, you can admire the many different plants species and the quirky art work. Get your tickets at the entrance. There is also a cafe onsite and bathroom facilities. Stunning views towards the Atlas mountains.

Unique - We enjoyed our visit to Anima. It is a really interesting, unique and relaxing place to go and provides a real contrast to the hive of activity in the Medina of Marrakech. I think this garden is well worth a visit and good value for the admission price. As we were staying in Marrakech, we booked the free shuttle bus before purchasing the admission tickets as places on the bus are limited so this is what dictated which day we visited.
