Must do Fantastic experience. - 100% recommend this camel sunset experience, it was amazing from start to finish, if I was to be picky it would be they state hotel pick up, it wasn’t until the day we were doing the experience when they sent text messages to say meet at pick up point because we were out of the zone area. We had to arrange at our hotel a return Taxi to the meeting point which was half hour drive away and cost 400 dirhams, this however did NOT spoil anything whatsoever, the cost of the experience with the Taxi still only came to £21.50 per person..
The camel sunset was stunning, a comfortable ride..first starting with a stop half way on our journey to an argon oil refinery where we had a toilet break, mint tea and a browse around, then arriving and enjoying approximately a 25 minute camel ride in the sunset with photos taken by the guides on our mobile phones, absolutely stunning, then a view point for more photos and mint tea. Lastly to finish off a moroccan tagine meal, fire show and mint tea then a drive back to the meeting point where we joined our return Taxi back to our hotel.. very well organised…well done to all involved in making our experience one to remember and treasure always. Thank you.

Sunset dinner & camel ride at Agafay - We stopped off at a women's cooperative which was interesting, I had a scarf wrapped around my head berber-style. We then went on to the camp for mint tea followed by music & a really fantastic meal. Before sitting down to dinner we had a camel ride . The camels need to be bigger really, fully grown to take adults. Also, a weight limit should be applied for the poor camel's sake. Some people are too big . We also had a fire show which was amazing .Overall it was a fab evening, watching the sunset . The camp look fantastic at night.

An absolute must! - Wild excursion! The dromedary ride was short but fun (without traditional clothing), then the bus drove to the venue which was majestically beautiful, then super entertaining during the performance and the fire show! Super recommend this!

Agafay desert experience Oct 2024 - The highlight of my trip to Marrakech! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour to the Agafay desert, visiting the Argan Squad (great name!) riding camels and experiencing traditional Berber music/singing and Moroccan food. I wish I could relive it. The service as well was very good. Ismail the tour guide first messaged me to introduce himself and confirm his arrival time, and I was relieved to see that he could do a pick up from our hotel outside of the city. Thank you Ismail for looking after us, being attentive and giving us little tips and information about the whole experience! You made a memorable impression on my friends and I!
The light show was good but started later than expected it seems. I would also recommend taking a cover up or light jacket as it was quite windy/cold that evening despite being hot in the day.
Great experience overall, would recommend

Excellent evening out of Marrakech....great views and experiences. - An excellent evening away from the bustle of Marrakech. In the first place we were lucky and happy to have Ayoub as our guide. He was communicative in advance of the trip, and then worked hard during the trip to make sure that all ran to a tight schedule. Took some nice photos of us too!
We got a lot out of the trip: a stop at an Argan Oil place, which was really informative; the stop for the sunset camel ride, which was lovely; a stop to take photos of the dramatic sunset; and then to the desert camp for an excellent dinner. Food was excellent at the dinner, the setting dramatic, the views amazing, and the entertainment great fun.
Very good experience - definitely recommended.

Very average family outing - Before booking we are told that we can be picked up in the medina, in the end it is the same meeting point for everyone at Koutoubia
Longer road than expected with difficulty finding the camp
Stop to buy argan products, unplanned
Camel ride normally 30 minutes in the end very expeditious, just enough time to make a photo report
Average food, no mint tea at the end of the meal
Well enough tourist trap

Disappointed - I had a lot of expectations for this excursion but it was a fiasco in the end.
You have to be careful with your belongings, I forgot the jacket in a coach and after telling me they had it then never showed up, first they told me what ka brought in the night and then in the morning and at the end nothing. How can they tell you if it's here and then that it doesn't show? Well, someone just kept it.
The normal food and the show nothing else. I was expecting a lot more.
When you go out, they treat you like sheep so you can leave fast.
Very bad organization, I say, many expectations but I think there are more interesting excursions
