The Sahara transforms reality; in this realm, the progression of time seems to alter. Rather, time ceases to be a factor. One is instead surrounded by an infinite expanse of extraordinary terrain, the rhythmic motion of a camel’s stride, and a sky littered with stars so luminous, punctuated by the harmonic serenade of your guide. You’re captivated by the splendor and savor each moment.
Our expedition will traverse the Atlas Mountains, characterized by their towering gorges and verdant havens tucked away amidst arid expanses, complete with clusters of date palms and lush gardens. We’ll explore ancient strongholds, spend a night in the vast desert, and even stop by ‘Hollywood’. We’ll delve into the lifestyles of nomadic tribes and the Berbers, picking up the art of pottery and camel racing. Perhaps we’ll participate in harvesting dates, preparing tajine, or weaving a matrimonial rug. Our journey will be documented through numerous photographs, the savoring of regional cuisine, and the unravelling of local enigmas. Such voyages are indelible, and at times, they possess the power to transform one’s life.
