An unforgettable and very well organised tour - An amazing tour and great value for money. My boyfriend and I went at the beginning of August and were worried about the desert heat. There was air conditioning in the hotel on the first night, on the bus and lots of stops en route to buy water. The night in the desert was a bit hot but not unbearable. The first hotel was incredible, had great views and a lovely pool and bar. The main tour guide, Abdul, was very friendly and made the whole experience very fun. The other local guides made sure to explain things to us even though we were the only English speakers in the group. The camel ride was definitely the highlight and so was the tour around Aït Ben-Haddou. The food was very good and as someone with a nut allergy I could eat surprisingly a lot of dishes and usually had a decent amount of choice. There were lovely surprises like a beautiful walk through an agricultural area on the way to the rug shop, the beautiful gorge and we even got to sand-board during the beginning of a storm, watching the lightning in the desert which will be an unforgettable experience. Overall I’d really recommend the tour and I can see why it’s got such high rating!

Morocco 3 days - Driver Salah picked us up on time to the hotel and led us to the scheduled tours. The playlist is wonderful and has brought me several new songs to my repertoire. His care with the route and also with the stops for the bathroom and food were impeccable. We don't feel hungry or want to go to the bathroom. The guide Abdul provided us with various curiosities, detailed information about the route and also about schedules. We went to amazing restaurants, where we ate very well, he took beautiful photos of us, took us to wonderful places. The two are polite, smiling and wherever we went, we were well received. We came in August because of the heat, but we did not suffer anything with it, after all the Van was equipped with air conditioning and we got fresh water to relieve us. The hotels we stayed and the structure of the hotel camping surprised us very much. It was all wonderful, beautiful and very modern. I had an experience that left me with a desire for more and returning to Morocco I want to be with them.

FANTASTIC TOUR - We booked the 3-day, 2-night tour with In Merzouga Tours and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience. All the guides who accompanied us were fantastic, especially Sahir and the driver, who stayed with us throughout the entire tour. Practical information: the tour is in a group, and at the desert camp we were joined by other small groups, which made it easy to make friends and socialize in an international setting. Lunch is not included in the tour, but the guides always took us to specific places with fixed menus (12–15 euros, often including drinks). This is important to know because the whole group eats together. I recommend bringing more cash than you think you’ll need, for buying souvenirs or tipping the guides (not mandatory, but a nice gesture). About the desert camp: after the camel ride and sandboarding, we were assigned our tents. The basic tents are quite simple, so you’ll need a bit of an adventurous spirit — otherwise, I highly recommend upgrading. We had the basic tent with shared bathrooms (for both men and women). The tent had only one power outlet to charge phones, and of course, a light. Dinner was quite good, and breakfast was simple but fine. After dinner, we all gathered to sing and dance together — I absolutely loved this moment of sharing and connection. Overall, I highly recommend this tour as it allows you to visit many places with local guides who explain everything and make you feel much safer than if you were exploring on your own.

Best experience ever - Abdul was very friendly with us, very read and informed on the tour part though he had to translate us into 2 languages (English - Spanish) due to nationalities of the group. I highly recommend it!! Yala

An Amazing Trip Towards the Merzouga - Amazing package with lots of different experiences along the way. Especially memorable was the view from the Atlas Mountains, walking through the farmlands in the Tinghir Oasis and the Todgha Oasis, the camel ride through the sands of the Sahara and seeing the sunset from the desert. Shout out to our guide, Youssef, who made the entire trip especially enjoyable with his fun interactions, tidbits of interesting knowledge and excellent photo taking skills. He was really a true representative of Moroccan hospitality.

Unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!!! - Only congratulations to our guide Mohammed and all the staff who followed us in these 3 unforgettable days. Exceptional organization, comfortable journey with wonderful stops to the desert, which leaves you breathless. Travel really super recommended. Unlike other organized tours, this only admits 8 participants, which makes everything more comfortable and precise. Try also the extra quad bikes in the desert at dawn, breathtaking landscapes and super fun. Everything really perfect, highly recommended! And Mohammed amazing character!!

3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga - We had a great experience on our 3-day trip from Marrakech to Merzouga! The route is really well thought out: incredible and varied landscapes, from the Atlas Mountains to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Special mention for the magnificent Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, the impressive Todgha Gorge and its oasis, which were notable stops. Our guide Hassan and was friendly, warm and very professional. We felt well accompanied throughout the trip. The driver drove very well, with stops always well chosen to rest, eat or admire the panoramas. The food was generally correct, although the cuisine on the camp in the desert could be improved. That said, the hospitality on site was excellent. Some practical tips: provide cash for drinks (and water), to pay local guides (fixed rates or tip). If possible, opt for a private room with toilet at the camp: it is much more comfortable and guarantees better hygiene, especially after a long day of driving and desert. A rich journey with a caring team. We keep a very good memory and recommend without hesitation!

Camel Trek Abuse. - This tour was amazing and I had rated it 5 stars on an earlier review but a recent finding made me change my mind. Here is why… as we got to the Sahara Desert to ride the camels to the camp site I notices a few upsetting details. First off they were doing some sort of yell as if they were annoyed or in pain. Now I completely understand some animals are moody and don’t cooperate but the treatment they were receiving backed up the stubbornness and feeling of discomfort for them. There were hooks that went through their nostrils which I was told was normals but I noticed some of the camels had stretched noses because of it which created a distorted look. It was so sad to see and that’s surely not a comfortable thing to do. The saddles were so uncomfortable it left bruising on me and my fellow riders even days later I’m still feeling the discomfort when I sit down. Some had numbers burned into their necks and they were all mangey and didn’t look like they were well taken care of. They were simply used a a money trap. I witnessed the guides kick them down to get them to sit and they didn’t seem to give them loving affection and only harsh and cruel actions were taken towards them. The camels had a sad and depressed look. I would have never booked it if I knew what I was about to learn. I went on a tour the next day where I rode a camel again only for a 30 minute ride and I just saw how happy and taken care of they were. Just pulling up I immediately saw a difference in their condition's. They were fed (I even got to feed them a little) pet, comforted and talked nicely too during our ride. They were well groomed and the saddles were so comfortable it felt like I was sitting on a pillow. This is how it should be. Please if you take anything from this review it’s that they are supporting abuse towards these poor hopeless animals and are overworked. It shows and it’s very sad whatever you do please work against going on this tour if you care for the camels wellbeing.
