Great. - Great experience, the journey a little long (the Sahara is deserved😍), but punctuated by Mohamed our super guide, by tea stops, or panoramic views... We finish the epic on the back of a camel... A long walk with the super nice thatched Ibrahim too. We see the sunset on the back of a camel, Ibrahim proposes to take pictures of us... He sets us up in our tent (where a good blanket was not too much... And what allowed us to sleep well warm...) We land with Ibrahim on benches, offering us mint tea and snacks, in front of tents and we discuss everything and nothing, with above us a starry sky as we dream... Then a Berber meal then a show of singing, music and dancing around a large fire... All Berbers are super friendly and there is a good atmosphere. They're coming to get us to dance. Then we climb on the dune to admire the stars... The sand is cold but the show is magical. The sand is so fine it slips through your fingers... Then we go to bed and fall asleep like babies with background noise the distant music of another group of tents... And some camel noises but apart from that, the calm... Wake up 7h to have breakfast and while Ibrahim prepares the animals to go home (shorter than on the way home), we climb on a hill (when you are not sporty like me it is not the easiest leg) but the sunrise behind the mountain makes forget everything... Return to Marrakech as beautiful as going with different points of view! And respect for Mohamed who drives in the Medina to bring us back to our riad, without a hitch as bikes, mobile phones, motorcycles and other cars meet in tight and crowded alleys! In short, experience not to hesitate to do!!! and especially ''tanemmirt'' to all!!!

Best Christmas present ever - We had a fantastic excursion with Momhad as driver and Ibrahim as guide at the camels and tent camp. The ride takes time but the surroundings always treat you to different views. The camels were super sweet. The tent was neat, spacious and cozy. The toilets and showers neat. We had a great meal at the tent camp. Looking at the stars was great. Unfortunately, the moon was half full so we saw less than we liked. In the morning the moon was gone and the sky was full of stars. The sunrise was beautiful. For the best Christmas present ever. Don't hesitate but do!

Good value for money - Well organized. Good communication. And fantastic guide, driver, friend. Mohmad Amjif. We enjoyed long drive because Mohmad was telling stories, played arabic music, was very helpful, flexible and responsive. Desert camp was nice. Food good. Sunrise perfect. I could have stayed there longer

2 Day Tour to Zagora from Marakech - Interesting trip: pretty landscapes, the Atlas, the Sahara steps, the natural settings of many films near Ouarzazate.... Some disappointing points: The “luxury” tent with shower but no hot water, the camel ride too long and too bad saddle (skinned buttocks...) no 4-4 for luggage that did not follow Very appreciated: the driver very helpful and kind, the cleanliness of the tents, the kindness of the Berbers everywhere

Excellent experience at the doors of Sahara - We had a very nice guide for our two day trip who collected and dropped us back to our hotel (very interesting taste in music! 😁 ) The scenery along the way was beautiful. There is a lot of vehicle travel as Zagora is quite far from Marrakech but there are plenty of rest stops aming the way (about every 1.5hours). The campsite accommodation was very comfortable. The food was lovely. The entertainment of music and dancing at the campsite was lots of fun. It requires a bit of fitness to get up the dunes to see the stars and sunrise but is well worth it. This tour might be better to do towards the end of your holiday as the camel ride and trek up the dunes may leave you a bit worse for wear the days after but don't let that put you off as it's a wonderful experience! Extra costs to be aware of - The lunches that are not included will cost about 120-150DH each day per person. There is a fee for the guide at Ait Ben Haddou (30DH per person) and a tip for the camel guide also that is at your discretion.

2-Day Zagora Tour from Marrakesh - The two stops on the way there and back were interesting. Two long days sitting in a minibus, so not suitable for a short holiday. The Desert Camp was near a town and agriculture, so not as remote as expected. A bit disappointing. Don't take much baggage as you have to carry it on your back on the camel (for about an hour each way).

2 days spent mostly in a car - It’s so much driving. 6 hours each day, the first day you do a 1 hour camel ride at the end, and the 2nd day you only break for toilet along the way, there is nothing really to see besides the natural view. The driver was professional and this is not his fault at all, but it should be clearer how you basically will just spend 2 days in a car. The camp site is nice and service was good, but it’s more semi- desert than the actual Sahara. I’m a solo traveller and they put me with a family with 3 young kids and a couple.
