Kakadu National Park
Maguk Gorge - Travel south through Kakadu National Park to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge). Wear comfortable shoes for the approximately 1 km walk along the mostly dry riverbed through a paperbark forest to the gorge and waterhole. The water is very deep but refreshing. Relax in the clear water while admiring the surrounding pandanus and ancient cliff walls that have remained unchanged for millennia. It’s a truly special place!
Katherine - This evening, enjoy the sunset views over the Katherine River before settling in at the camp.
Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge)
Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge - This morning, enjoy a 2-hour cruise in the breathtaking Katherine Gorge, or alternatively, take in the view of the gorge along one of the many river escarpment walks that Nitmiluk National Park offers.
Edith Falls - We travel through the town of Katherine to our next destination, Edith Falls. It’s an ideal spot for a picnic lunch followed by a swim.
Litchfield National Park
Magnetic Termite Mounds - Your guide will introduce you to the impressive cathedral and magnetic termite mounds scattered throughout the region.
Buley Rockhole - Take a refreshing dip in one of Litchfield National Park’s famous Buley Rockholes.
Florence Falls - Enjoy the view from the lookout, or if time allows, descend the stairs for a refreshing swim.
Wangi Falls - Unwind with a picnic lunch and a final swim of the tour before returning to Darwin.
