Journey from Pokhara to Marpha: Discover the Charming Town
Marpha - The adventure kicks off after breakfast at the hotel, ideally around 9 am. The scenic highway drive takes approximately 3 hours to reach Beni, the district center of Myagdi. From Beni, Tatopani is about an hour away. After passing through Tatopani, you will encounter the stunning 310-meter Rupse waterfall. The Mustang region starts at Ghasa, where permits are required. As you explore the picturesque landscapes of Larjung, Kobang, and Tukuche, you will arrive at Marpha. This is an excellent spot to experience the traditional village, with its thatched roofs and apple orchards.
From Marpha to Muktinath: Visit and Return to Tatopani
Muktinath Temple - Begin your day in the apple orchard. After breakfast, head towards Muktinath. En route, visit Jomsom and enjoy the breathtaking views of Kagbeni village from a viewpoint. We often encourage a dance to invigorate your spirits. The true splendor of the Muktinath area unfolds here. Muktinath temple is a revered site for Hindu pilgrims, where visitors partake in a sacred bath at 108 water spouts. After paying respects, return and proceed to Dhumba Lake (for foreigners or with an additional fee). Then, embark on a 3-hour drive back to Tatopani, navigating a challenging section before stopping.
Return Journey to Pokhara
Pokhara - Departing from Tatopani, the drive continues through Beni. On the way to Pokhara, you will witness thrilling activities like bungee jumping, sky cycling, swinging, and ziplining. Finally, you will be dropped off in Pokhara.
Note: Early in the morning, enjoy a natural hot spring at Tatopani, believed to cure various skin ailments.
