Turtle beach Barkas Boat - We had a great day on the turtle beach Barkas boat. Such a good time that we did it twice. 1st time was booked via an on street agent with a different company. 2nd trip was booked at a reduced cost online with Selçuk at mares travel. The 2nd time we booked was so much better organised. We recieved digital tickets. Much safer than the paper ticket and not able to loose. We got the free transfer which was prompt and well organised. The trip itself consists of a 2-2.5h boat trip with a swim stop, there's a photographer, food, drink and ice cream available to purchase. You also get a free chicken, pasta and salad meal on the big boat. Then you transfer into smaller boats and go to turtle beach for an hour. You can also buy turtle feed on the boat. Once youve had the stop on turtle beach you go back onto the small boat to spot turtles and this is when you can feed them. We spotted turtles on both trips. Then after this you go for a brief talk about the kings tombs. Ice creams, drinks and snacks are available to purchase on the small boats too. After we went to the mud baths for an hour. We were silly and covered ourselves before showering off and heading into the thermal pool. Then back onto the small boats and back. We saw turtles again on the way back. Once back on the main boat we relaxed on comfortable loungers on deck until we arrived back to marmaris. We then had a short transfer back to the hotel. A great day. Both times good but the 2nd time booked with Selçuk at mares travel was better organised and cheaper. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again in future. Brilliant.

Brilliant day out! - The trip was amazing! First off the mud bath…the showers after were freezing! But it was worth it, you can even pay extra to have little fish bite at your feet, which was a good experience. The food was yummy! And the boat trip was awesome! We saw tombs up in the mountains, held blue crab and had the chance to eat some fresh crab and the left overs we threw to the turtles. We actually saw two loggerhead turtles which was amazing! And then you finish off with a trip to the turtle beach which was beautiful and the sea was absolutely lush I didn’t want to get out! To top it off our tour guide was absolutely brilliant! Couldn’t fault Dimitri! He was funny and very knowledgeable! And we also had the opportunity to buy souvenir photos on the way back.

Great and Enjoyable day out! - Everything from the beginning to the end was perfect! We took this trip on our honeymoon and it was a great and fun experience. We were collected from our hotel by a big spacious and air-conditioned bus which made few stops along the way to collect other travellers. From there we travelled to Dalyan mud baths. Before reaching the mud baths destination, the bus driver also stopped at local store for toilet and refreshments break as the bus journey there takes roughly 1.5 hrs. The mud baths were great laugh but maybe for somebody who has sensitive facial skin like me, I would recommend avoiding putting the mud on your face. Otherwise, very good and fun experience overall. Thereafter we had lunch on site and after lunch we headed to the turtle beach on the boat. Our boat drivers were really cool and played excellent music which kept everyone in good and lively mood. The boats don't take card so ensure you have cash with you or bring drinks with you onboard. When you get to the turtle beach, there is a little bistro restaurant which takes cards and serves bistro food. Overall, great day out! Our guide Dimitri was also very informative and hilarious and has gone above and beyond to ensure English travellers were not left out from those non-english speaking. However, if you don't like different languages being interpreted at once then this is not a trip for you.

Good trip awful bus journey! - Dimitri our tour guide 55, the trip itself 4/5 and the bus journey there a big fat zero, would never have booked if we had known it was going to take so long. Other than that Turtle beach and the must baths is a must do when visiting marmaris and the value for money is fantastic. Recommend just be prepared for the long bus journey.

Small boats make it all worth it - You start off in a large boat from Marmaris; you stop for a swimming break which was great but that's the only good thing about that boat- cheap sunbeds, fully packed, a lunch that was ok but no vegetarian option, it was too slow, music too loud, toilets were totally disgusting but I do give credit to the young men trying to entertain they really do make it much more enjoyable. Once you get on the small boat than its totally amazing experience; much smaller groups; prices more reasonable; Don't pre order the crab- someone else always does. Do no take a shower on the turtle island it uses salt water making your skin extra dry. We were on July 1 and managed to see adult and baby turtles ( in the fresh water delta where the mud baths were). I would say that the small boat trip would be perfect if they did a Turkish tea experience on the way back. Mudbaths do stink like sulphur (rotten eggs) but apparently does make your skin feel better.
